My grandparents are about to loose health insurance-And my family has a realllyyy long list of health issues. If my grandparents loose health insurance, it also means half my family will loose their health insurance too because they use the same plan (not me though). That's going to put my family in the grave yard. My two cousins, who are sixteen and five, have a disease called CF (Cystic Fibrosis). Their medications cost thousands of dollars and my aunt/uncle can't afford it on their own. They'll get really sick and I wouldn't be able to bare it if something happened to them. I can blame ObamaCare for whatever happens to my family-it's going to be the cause of whatever happens. I don't care about what happens to myself though-Family and friends first in my opinion. I also can't do anything to stop this if it happens. FML. My family is screwed...Almost.

It was a good plan. But as soon as the name was changed its "bad". -
I'm not sure how any of this is connected at all to Obamacare. Why exactly are your grandparents going to lose their health insurance? You never really explained that part of it.

I don't get how Obamacare will do that, but it is a pretty ineffective solution to the problem. The only true solution is complete socialization of healthcare.

Every other country has universal healthcare. Your grandparents can still choose to stay on their health care, the affordable care act is just there to make health insurance available to more people.

ThatHufflepuff NewbieHoney, if your aunt and uncle can't afford you're cousins medication, why not get a different insurance? That may sound stupid, and or you've already tried it, but my own mother has been where you're aunt and uncle have sorta been in. My mother being the teen mom she was,was kicked out of the house, and left on her own. But now she has a credit score of 860, living the upper-middle class life, and enjoys shopping at J.Crew. I'm talking Italian cashmere. They could go on Welfare if they are in a certain state, or you could just move to Canada. Home of Epic Meal Time and free healthcare.

You can't just move to canada. The only reason I got to the UK is because of scottish gran.
All obamacare is, is not letting you get a specific health plan, thhe government chooses it. And for most everyone except those living off welfare it is more expensive. -
Actually Geek the Obamacare standards for health insurance are the problem, people are losing their insurance because it doesn't meet the new federal standards. Most of these people are the working poor. So actually Obamacare is hurting those it was supposed to help. As for everyone else it will stay pretty much the same. The government really doesn't have a lot of control aside from telling insurance companies what they can sell.
