I smiled, I could feel the heat radiating off her cheeks from where I stood. I didn't move though. I knew it was wrong, I knew it, but I did it anyways. I leaned forward the last distance and sealed the kiss. I put a hand behind her head and pulled her closer.

I kissed him back gently, I pressed myself closely to him, it was my first kiss...my first kiss, I didn't want it to end, but it will, he will feel a tingling in his arm and then my name would be written across his arm, then I would have to go, I would have to disapear, he will hate me then. I held her closer, until I felt her face getting wet. I stopped and pulled back. "What's wrong?" I asked, concerned. I wiped her eyes and kissed her forehead. Then my arm started to feel funny. My eyes widened, but I resisted the urge to look. It might've just been a plant I was too distracted to notice. Yes, that was it, a plant.

I hugged her back tighter. I just rubbed her back and muttered, "it's okay, it's okay" over and over again. I pulled the sleeve of my shirt a bit and I saw an elegant "a" and I knew what the rest was. I put the sleeve so it was covered and hugged her. I kissed her cheek. Then I remembered what my father had said. I didn't freeze. "I love you too. . ." I whispered into her hair. -
I held to him tightly not wanting to let go, just like I did to my mum when I was 7 and they said they'll burn her, I hugged her and held tightly because I was scared to lose her, I held tightly cause I felt braver with his arms around me, "I love you..." I said burying my head in his chest, "Please don't kill me" I whispered softly

I contiued to pat her back. "I won't, I won't let anything happen to you. I'll never let anyone hurt you. I promise." I whispered. It was almost completely black outside. I knew we wouldn't be able to go back to town, not now. Not with my father. . . I took a deep breath before asking, "Can we go somewhere where no one will find us? We can run away, together. My father sent me to see if you were a witch. . . But I fell in love with you. If I go home, he'll search for you, but if we run, we can start a new life, together." I rushed out.

I smiled. With a shiver I noticed the snow slowly falling. "We can't go right now." I announced. I looked her straight in the eyes. "I'm going to go home and pretend we didn't kiss yet, I'll hide my arm from father. You must go home, I'll meet you here tomorrow at noon and I'll bring things we can use on our journey." I kissed her reddended nose and took out a pocket knife.

I nodded my head and smiled, my cheeks blushed matching my red nose. "Be wary...your father is very watchful and before you go..." I pulled up his sleeve to reveal my name on his arm, I trailed my fingers gently over the letters, smiling

I smiled. "Yes?" she looked perfect. The rosy glow, the cute nose, she was just so perfect. And she loved me. It was shocking, but I love her with all my heart, no doubt about it now.

My fingers gently touched the letters, his arm was still glowing from the branding. I looked up at him kissed his forehead, "Don't get lost" I said, I never thought I would find love..especialy with the son of a priest, but I did, and I'm happy I didn't, cause I never wanted to let him go

I smiled. "I won't." I took the knife and etched a heart with "KS + MB" into the tree we had our first kiss against. "Just look for this tree and be sure to find me and I'll find you. Pack whatever you need." I said, glancing at the sky. "I have to go now, I love you, goodbye." I rushed out and kissed her cheek.
