I stood there in shock for a moment, unsure of what to do. "The plan, carry out the plan!" I muttered to myself. I grabbed a satchel filled its food, warm clothing, ink and a quil, parchment, and money. In a light wooden box I packed a thick quilt, a blanket or two, some sewing tools, and some knitting materials. With the satchel on my shoulder and the box in my arms, surprisingly not too heavy, I ran off to find Miranda before my father.

I lay down on the floor infront of my cottage, listening to the chimes ring as the wind blew through them, I could feel an unwanted prescense and one that I cared for. "I must go.." I said to myself

I ran through streets, sticking towards the shadows when I could, always feeling too slow. I just wanted her to be okay.

I got to the tree and saw it was just her footprints going off to the left. I followed them, feeling a shiver up my spine. Something was wrong,I could feel it.

I moved left, something in the wind..was telling me damger was near, but I was too slow. A hand cupped against my mouth, stopping me from screaming. It was Keegan's father

I dropped the box and just sprinted. "Miranda!" I yelled.

I felt a dagger pressed against my forehead, thats when I kicked backwards making him lose his grip. I sprinted out, as fast as I could

I could hear a bit of shuffling above. Father got there first. I kept running. When I got there though, only my father was there. And not exactly the happiest either. . .

He threw the dagger on the groumnd angrily, muttering to himself, "I will kill that witch...I will kil her"
As I ran I swear I once heard Keegan call out my name, but he was so far away. I leaned against a tall tree taking in a few breaths -
I stood there, bouncing in place a bit. What I did next shocked me. I struck my father in the head with a nearby log. I didn't mean to maim him, but just to delay him. I ran back to the box. Miranda surely got away.

I sensed another prescense, coming nearer and nearer. I could not tell whether they could be trusted or not so I thrust my arms outward forming a protection shield around me

I ran right into a tree. Wait, it couldn't have, it fell over as well.i got up quickly. "Miranda?" I asked excited.

My eyes widened, "Keegan?"

I pulled her up and gave her a big hug. "I'm so glad you're alright." I muttered into her hair.
