I narrowed my eyes. That was odd. . . I stood and took her hand. "At least let me take you some of the way. I won't let you go alone. You know how the woods can be." I offered. I wondered why she was so cautious about her house.

"Fine..only half-way, but the woods aren't as bad as you think, I find them quite pleasant at night reason being the stars shine at their most brightest..." and that I hear the wolves howl, but I did not add that comment. What I've already said in this conversation has been too risky.

I nodded. "Living there probably got you used to it." I had nothing better to say. "It's a bit chilly." I commented and put a jacket over her shoulders then took her arm in mine.

I opened the door and exited. Then I realized I really had no clue where she lived. I suppose we were just going to be wandering the town and I'd follow her. I smiled. She was much better than that other girl I'd been expecting to marry. I wished I could stay like this with her, in a house of our own. I shook those thoughts from my head, I still had no idea how the conversation with father would turn out.

I blushed, thankful it was dark. I was tempted to kiss her head, but I was technically with Rachel. . . It would be sinning. However, I was sure I loved Miranda. . . I only met her today, but she was easy to talk to, beautiful, and she was right. She was inspiring. I pressed my lips together to avoid it.

"No," I said quickly, which made me flush brighter red. My ears even started to feel warm. "Uh, watch your step." I said trying to chang the subject and stepping over a large rock.

I chuckled, "All of a sudden you seem very shy and blushful now Mr.Keagon" I said jumping over the rock and landing on my feet, I won't let him change the subject so easily

"Who said I was being shy? Pffft, that's not me." I said nevously. I swear I was about to explode from the heat of blushing.

I laughed, "Oh really?" I said stopping, I faced him and pressed one of my hands against his cheek which seemed to grow more and more warm by the second. I grinned, "Blushing!"

I gently removed her hand. "Fine, so you caught me." I laughed. "But the real question is, why are you so intent on saying I'm blushing?" I asked. I guided her to a nearby tree and stood a couple inches in front of her. My face had, luckily, cooled down a bit. "You believe it's because of you, correct?" I said flirtatiously.

I smiled, I couldn't help enjoying the feeling of being so close to him, it was..nice. "Oh, I know its because of me...I know these things" I said in a playful yet seductive voice, wait what am I doing? He..he's so close, just don't kiss him! I can't kiss him!

I leaned a bit closer, it was her turn to blush. "You contradict yourself so much, you know that?" I asked in the same tone she used. Our noses were almost touching when I decided I was close enough to make her blush.
