She sat in the chair beside his bed, and buried her face into her hands. She couldn't believe it; her love for him didn't matter anymore. What mattered was if he was going to make it or not. "Either way this turns out... I love you."
Naomi stood at the doorway, blinking. -
Cameron blinked, momentarily shocked. "Oh... I..." He couldn't finish his sentence, for there was a knock at the door. "Come in," he called, glancing over towards the entrance.

Arielle bit her lip, and looked around the room. Just being in a hospital made her sad. But when she's in there with her best friend and love interest.. She started to sob again.
