He closed his eyes, scanning the area. Someone, a human, was there. He sighed. "Come on, Piper, let's go back to the car."

My fangs popped out and I hissed at him.

No blood for you, princess, he thought, grabbing her hand and walking back to the car with her.

I hissed again and tried to break free. Damn, he was strong

"Come on, stop hissing at me..." He continued. What, does she forget how to speak when she wants blood?

"Let.Me.Go." I hissed at him, still trying to break free. f--- Slayers

"No." He opened the passenger door, pushing her inside the car. He shut it and walked around to the driver's side. When he got in the car, he buckled her seatbelt. "If you want blood, you'll have to wait a while."

I glared at him. "I need to feed, you know. It's for survival."

"Relax. You'll be fine for a few minutes, right?" He started the car, knowing exactly where to go.

"Yeah, the thirst will fade." I said.

"Perfect."

"Where are we going?"

In about ten minutes, the car was parked in a hospital parking lot. He grabbed a bag from the backseat. "I'll be right back. Oh, and by the way, do you have a cellphone?"

"No, and while you're in there. Grab me some contacts. I don't want humans seeing my eyes." I said pointing at my blood red eyes.

"Okay." He got out of the car, locking it behind him and walking off to the doors of the hospital.
