I looked through the blood bags.

"I got some of each type... If you have a preference I can get of that type." He didn't want to look over at her. Getting the blood bags was bad enough.

"It's all the same. You can't really notice the taste difference." I said.

I nodded.

He switched lanes.

I looked out the window.

He frowned. She had her blood, and he should probably stop later and get something for himself.

I continued to stare.

"Something wrong?" He asked.

"No." I replied.

He looked back at the road.

I closed my eyes.

It was still sort of awkward, having a vampire in his car. And helping her. And getting blood bags for her.

My eyebrows creased. I wonder what Ange is doing. She was probable the only person at the castle I could put up with.
