I couldn't help but press my lips to hers. The electricity resulting from the touch coursed through my veins. After a few seconds I pulled away, flustered. "I'm sorry," I said quickly. "I shouldn't have..."

I was stunned. It took me a few seconds to respond. I melted into the kiss, the world around me drifting away. My heart was singing.

That night my parents had a long time-wasting talk about how I should only be kissing my "fiancee" and not someone that they didn't like.
But all I I could think about was that kiss.
