I found out today that my friend is cutting. She's very very very popular and preppy. She tries to look good around all her friends. She got a razor from this boy. I want to tell the school council but there's a problem. The boy that gave her the razor said if he gets interviewed by the council again he'll tell everyone that she cuts. If I tell the council the Council interviews everyone she ever talked to about depression and stuff. What should I do?

The boy most likely has told some people. So exposing him can actually keep some one away from harm. However, it will be hard keeping the girls secret a secret. I believe this girl needs to stop though. Have you told her to stop?

Sorry if this isn't what your looking for, but What the hell is the school gonna do about it. Mt sister used to cut and her friends told the school and it didn't stop her. You need to tell her parrents about it.

Telling my friend to stop won't help. I've already tried.
I've tried talking to her about it but she just shuts me away.
The school can do a lot, actually. The school will contact her parents and get her professional help. -
Either talk to her or tell the council I mean if shes going to get interviewed people are going to know either way

Then you may have to tell an older adult. To be honest you may loose her friendship. But you may be saving her from getting badly injured. You would feel way worse if her life was shortened because of cutting. I'm pretty sure she will look back and say thank you. Sometimes being the older person changes everything.

Tell the council, she needs to get help for stuff like that. It may be a little hard at first to get the help, but I think it would be better for her in the end. And f--- that boy too, he's a dick.
