Shan, I had a friend on this website, Kiera. Kiera and I were about as close as two people could be on a website like this. She was one of the first people who made me feel like I was wanted in a long, long time. We were twelve.
One day, Kiera's account makes a post. I check, the typing style isn't the same. The person posting says that she's in a situation similar to this one. Says that they found her phone with this open, that they're her sibling and knew she liked this website. It goes on for a few hours, and of course, I'm in tears. Enough to the point that my mother's noticed, that she's asking me what's happened this time, if I'm alright, what happened to make her child sob like this. I explain, she tries to help me calm down. I post about it, and... guess what? Kiera's fine! It was a joke! She was talking to me the entire time, just wanted to see what I'd do. It was her idea of a funny joke, or a test. It destroyed my trust in her. I don't want to make the same mistake again. -
