Hold on, If Summer was smart, she wouldn't tell White her name. I'm sticking with my first post
-
An extended time of 8 minutes is being given for this Round.

There isn't much evidence to work with on this case, but I'll give it my best.
The stab wounds and knife could be signs of homicide or potential suicide, so I'll just break down both possibilities.
Homicide: After running away, Summer more than likely was in free reign of her self and basically did what she wanted, leading up to her pregnancy. The potential motive that the killer had would be to get rid of the baby. But most guys are just deadbeats that run off, right? Which leads to the possibility of this case being one of 'kidnap and molestation' instead of 'run away out of control teenager'. Of course she still could be a runaway that ended up in a truly terrible situation as well.
Mr. White is a suspect. He seems to speak in a quick manner, trying to seem like he doesn't have much time in the world. And the way he mentions that her family won't be there for her, which somewhat contradicts his statement of not knowing her. If he didn't know her, how would he know the rest of the family any better? In conclusion, if this was a homicide, Mr. White had murdered young Summer to cover up what he'd done to her.
Suicide: This is much more simple. If Summer had committed suicide, it could've likely been trauma from the potential rape and her unwillingness to live with herself and the baby. In most cases, rape victims can't stand the thought of a child born from such a violent action and come to suicide because they're too ashamed to do anything else.
But once again, lack of evidence makes the final conclusion debatable. In my opinion, it's more likely a homicide than a suicide. And as for the letter in the dirt, it could be symbol of Summer's name. -
Yay!
Okay.
So, lets look at the facts. The knife. If the killer was smart, they would've washed off the fingerprints. Check for those. -
I love when I write a lot and you guys just add stuff on. Put it all in one post please, or don't include it at all
-
guys just check up Lovely Bones -
I got it!
Summer ran off with White, where she was for two years. When she found out she was pregnant, White didn't agree, and he threatened murder. She tried to go to her parents, but white had already gotten to her. So he denied knowing her. she told him her parents weren't there for her, which was how he knew. -
Mr.White's son's fingerprints were found on the body and so were Mr.White's. Most were washing off.

Guys, I have my answer!

-
homicide: both mister white and his sun raped summer
they killed her
drew the s to make it look like suicide
then threw her in the river
as said before a dead body cant throw its self in the river -
Great work, detectives. I just got the final police report. Let's see what it says!
From: The Police Department
To: Lillian and the Detectives
Good evening. We have solved this crime, thanks to your help. Here is the conclusion we have come to;
Summer was a runaway, indeed. She was a prostitute for a year before Mr.White kidnapped her and kept her in his cellar. Mr.White fell in love with the young girl, and treated her great. He ignored the whole "she's a prostitute" thing until he found a pregnancy test in the bathroom that read positive. He had not had sex with her, and the only other person she was allowed to see was his son, Malcom. Malcom was the father of the child. This brought Carter back to the fact she was a prostitute, and he wanted the baby gone. Summer refused to get an abortion, so Mr.White dragged her to the river and killed her and the baby. Malcom tried to fight him off, but couldnt. Mr.White threatened to kill Malcom if he told, but Malcom drew a "S" for Summer in the sand as an act of defiance.
Please post "I solved it!" if you came close to this.
Prepare for Round and Crime 3. -
I have a feeling that this happened:
Mr. White raped Summer, and kept her in a place his son couldn't find. When he was trying to murder Summer, his son knew Summer from her childhood. They might've been friends, so he tried to stop his father, but his father won. When his son tried to tell/call the police, his father said he would kill them if he said anything. That's my final answer.
