I personally feel that everyone has at least one irrational fear. Something that makes them tick in all the wrong ways and can always get a response. Personally, I'm terrified of people talking about me and villainizing me, and me not being there to defend myself. I have lost friends and made people cry over this. I've questioned people I trust and jump to the worst conclusion on it. So my question to you all, is what is your irrational fear?

I'm not sure for myself, but people have told me that I have a fear of getting hurt. So I push people away.

I guess I could say I have a fear of the ones I love being abused.

the fear started when I had a dream that my brother was screaming and crying because these people took him and enflicted a lot of physical pain onto him.

Not being able to speak my opinion, which usually I'm not able to because I get shut out by somone else. Well not being able to speak anything period sucks.

Death. I don't want to die. I'm afraid of being in that pain or something happening that will cause me to die as well. That situation is scary and painful.

I have two irrational fears.

1:It scares me so bad when people know everything about me,and I've never spoken a word to them.

2:People getting hurt scares me so bad.You have no idea.

If you couldnt tell yet, having my Achilles tendon cut is a thing Im deeply concerned about. Most people with this fear acquired it watchingHostel, and its not exactly common, but Im suspicious of everyone, even a seven-year-old kid with blunt tip scissors, wanting to go for the non-existent bounty on my poor Achilles tendon.

^^ Same, but my fear is from watching Pet Sematary. Cringey.

Also, things or people that have an extremely thin anatomy. Nooo, I do not mean like just skinny people, I mean like so skinny it's like paper because I used to have crazy freaking nightmares like that when I was little.

well, my fear is entirely irrational. its stupid, but I fear getting my clothes pulled under the escalator at the top/bottom.
its a weird fear and it prevents me from riding escalators.

haha I paid solid money to have my Achilles tendons cut and it was not fun

I have a s--- load of irrational fears. anxiety essentially controls my whole life. I can't even talk on the phone with doctors receptionists which is kind of necessary when youre over 18 and have insane medical issues. sorry, mini tangent.
