Everything depends on how you view it, who your friends are, etc.
Put your homework before your mental health (in a serious sense, not just "meh not in the mood"), and don't let people get to you. It's what you make of it. -

Avoid Bullies. They're stupid and ugly. Just stand up for yourself and do what you're suppose to do when you see a bully.
Be a Good Student. If you are good your teachers will love you and you will have a better life...
Do Your Homework. No matter how much they give you just do it. Do it for your parents, and the grades.
Don't Cause Drama. It's stupid and it's a waste of your time.
Don't Chit Chat. Again, waste of your time. Don't do it! Not that hard to shut your mouth!
Don't Try To Be a Cool Kid. Be yourself! Most important. Sure, you can wear some makeup and pretty clothes if your parents let you, but don't risk everything just to become popular. Don't get in trouble, don't break the rules, don't do anything bad. -

Be who you are, anyways. You don't need to fit in with any particular crowd, just have friends. And don't use labels, or label yourself.

Why does everyone insist being a "prep" is freaking out about wearing Hollister/the like, makeup, and having perfect nails/hair? That's being a dumb---.
