Screw marriage, it's nothing but a set of property laws.
You can be in a committed and great relationship without marriage.
I'm for the right to love no matter what type of relationship it is, gay, straight, multiple people (if all are respected and agree to it), I just despise marriage. -

If they've already been selected I see nought wrong with it, if rose garden had originally denied then due to the contoversy that would start that would have been acceptable however.

Everyone in the parade was in on it, and supporting it. They were on the AIDS float. And they had drinks and a preacher and everything. They stopped the float, and let them kiss... Which set off about 16 arrests and lots of the females.

That's still stupid they arrested them though.

If you watched the Rose parade, on TV or on the streets, I'll assume you've heard about the gay couple getting married.
If you didn't know, many people were outraged to see these two men getting married on one of the floats. On Facebook, a user made a BOYCOTT and has 8,000+ people who have liked his/her idea that it shouldn't have been done at a family friendly parade.
Are you one of the people who support gay rights? Did you cheer for them? I know I did! I don't care who marries who. It was a lovely moment during the parade. But some people think it's better to oppose the gay rights.
We shouldn't care what gender someone is. We should care about the fact that they LOVE each other, no matter what. People didn't say (straight couples) couldn't get married. So what's wrong with this gay couple getting married on a parade?

I am proud to be an American even though gay marriage isn't allowed in most parts of it and I support the gays.
You're lucky to live in this country. Just be glad you don't work like the Mexicans. If you weren't American, your life would be completely different.

I know e.e. it's only legal in 14 out of 50 states, and when I complained about how stupid it was that we didn't have gay rights, my parents thought I was lesbian and were like "awww are you coming out of the closet?" Fml I'm aloud to want gay rights.
