  1. Hello. I don't have much time to talk, so let's get down to business. You may or may not know me already, I've been on the news a few times. My name is Mercy, kinda ironic because I'm not one to forgive or show any signs of mercy. I've just done the unthinkable, and now I'm on the run.
  2. Earlier in my young adult life it's been little things. Like stealing, arson (yeah, I set my high school on fire once.), and stuff like that. But yesterday, heck I don't know if they've even found the body yet, but I murdered someone.
  3. Once I saw what I'd done, I ran for it. I gathered all my valued possessions and ran. No note, no signs, no indication of where I'd gone. Heck, at that point I didn't even know where I was going. All I wanted to do was get out of the state, maybe even out of the country. So far I've gone from Texas to Florida, South Carolina to South Dakota, Virginia to Washington, just trying to keep my cover. I mostly train hop, going from one train to the next, wherever they take me.
  4. I'm currently hiding in Colorado. Next I think I'll see if I can't get a plane to Paris. They won't think of looking for me there. My friends don't even know where I've gone, since I destroyed my phone before I left. just in case you're wondering, since humans are generally very nosey, where my parents are, thery're gone. They died in a car crash when I was younger. I've lived in an orphanage practically my whole life.
  5. Maybe that's why I'm so unforgiving. Not growing up knowing a mother's love, or having an overprotective father. During the holidays, while everyone else is celebrating with their families, I'm sitting here with my trusty knife. Wondering if I could really do it this time. End the misery. End the suffering...
  6. Anyway... That's enough about the past. All that matters now is that I don't get caught. Right now I'm hiding by a trash can outside of an apartment complex. It looks like I'll be sleeping in another ventilation shaft tonight. I just hope it's a smoke-free building. I'd better get that cover off quick, I hear a car coming.
  7. I manage to get the cover off just in time. I risk a peek at the car passing by. Just a normal car. Well, now that I'm in here I might as well settle in for the night. Since it's getting colder I'll have to find a blanket soon, or steal one from somewhere. maybe there's a homeless center nearby where I can get a blanket. Who am I kidding? I'll probably stay up all night anyway.
  8. *Morning* Well, it looks like I actually was able to catch a few z's last night. Good, because I'm going to be leaving town today. I've stayed here too long already. As I round the corner, I see something. It's a missing person sign, with MY face on it. No, not a missing person sign, it's a WANTED poster! Not only that, apparently I'm extremely dangerous and wanted dead or alive. Reward- $4,500. That's quite a large reward for a lonely killer like me. it must be because I've managed to escape the law for so long.
  9. WEE-OHH WEE-OHH WEE-OHH. Oops, I've been standing here way too long. Now the cops know where I am. I climb the fire escape ladder to the building next to me and let the chase begin. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop is a great way to get your adrenaline pumping isn't it? I've run out of roofs to jump to! A conveniently placed bouncy castle store is a greatly appreciated landing. Now the chase has taken to the streets.
