  2. . Drake looks back at me. "Sorry about the accident. I was running away from something." "It's fine." I say. "Need help finding your class?" "Sure?" I say. He looks at my schedule and says "Your in the same class as me, that's great." "Your quite an expert on finding things." I say We both walk to the same room and finally arrive. "Ladies first." Drake opens the door and I step in, pulling up my pants up as I walk in. I sit down to a seat and Drake sits all the way in the back. "Today I will assign your seat. You students were probably expecting me to leave you where you are were you?" My teacher says. "I'm Mrs.Clerk. If you have difficulty saying my name which is obviously no but if you do, call me Mrs.C."
  3. Everyone nods and continue to draw on their own piece of paper. "Everyone walk to the back of the room." There were people running and I saw people walking to the back of the room. I walked to the back of the room and waited until Mrs.Clerk could give us our new seat."Do NOT run. I never told you to RUN! Stop acting like fourth graders!" Mrs.Clerk yells out. Drake walks next to me and waits too. I move my hand slightly to the left and noticed I was touching Drake's hand. I blush and turn to the right and cross my arms. I look at Drake and see his eyes on mine. His eyes were so dark that I couldn't see the pupil of his eyes. My skin starts sweating the more I look at him. Then, he looks at my arm. Wait...not my arm. The drops of blood on my hand, sliding onto my fingers. He didn't look shocked, or worried. He was just staring like a normal person, but he wasn't moving, like he was spacing out. "First..." Mrs.Clerk looks back at her paper. "Micheal." Then points the desk at the back. The boy, Micheal walks to the back and sits down.
  4. "Hey, Mr.handsome." Drake looks at Mrs.Clerk. Mrs.Clerk points at Drake then at the desk sitting at the front. Drake sits down at the front and leans back onto his old, wooden chair. Then, Mrs.Clerk asks "Your Drake?" Drake looks up at Mrs.Clerk and nods. Mrs. Clerk pats Drake on the shoulder. "I don't care, i'll still call you Mr.handsome." The students chuckle while covering their hands onto their mouths. Mrs.Clerk calms them down and continues with the seats. "Ana?" I look at Mrs. Clerk. She points her finger at me then at the desk in the front, right by Drake. I walk slowly to my new seat and sit down. I stick my cold, dirty hands into my lap. Drake looks at me with his, dark, brown, mysterious eyes. Whenever I look at his eyes it reminds me of when he ran into me. Blood was dripping, his eyes were sinking into mines, the scar. These are memories you can never forget at the first day of school.
  5. "Alright, I assigned everyone to a new seat that you will sit in the whole school year." Mrs.Clerk says while passing out papers of homework. "This is not independent work so if you already started you are in the wrong track." People got out their erasers and started erasing. I was the only one that didn't do anything, and also Drake. "You will find a partner that is in this class and you will work together. If you do not finish until the bell rings you will have to do this at home by yourself. Now stand up, and find a partner." I stand up and walk around, waiting until there was someone that could be asking me to work with them. A couple minutes later, everyone is already sitting in their seats with their partners. I turn around and see a bunch of girls surrounding Drake. Drake constantly looks at me then walks through the girls like he build a wall on his left and right. "Wanna be my partner?" Drake asks. I blush again and look away, trying to make sure Drake doesn't look at my red face. I look back and say "Sure." We both walk to the back while the other girls keep deciding who their partners are.
  6. Drake and I sit on the floor in the corner of the room, where no one could see us. I put my homework onto the floor and put my hand down. Drake looks at my hand and says "You have drops of blood...on your hand." I look at my hand and see drops of blood resting on my cold and dirty hands. "Did you fall or what happened?" I looked at him then looked down at my hand. "I didn't do anything. It was from you." I say. Drake looked confused and kept looking at my hand. "How? When?" Drake asks. "From this morning." I try not to think about it but the memories just keep pushing itself into my brain. It's nonstop. "Oh." Drake clears his throat and looks away for a couple seconds. "Lets get down to work. Wait...why do they even give us homework on the first day? Isn't that too...weird. We haven't learned anything today." I look at him and smile. I just can't hold it in. "I know right?" I make a small laugh. "So, number one. What are the differences between now and what happened in 1789?"
