An ending at Hogwarts part 7

All characters (except Annalise and Kyle), spells, objects, and anything else pertaining to the Harry Potter books/movies are all J.K. Rowlings ideas. I just added my own character in my version

Recap: We learned a little about Lewis and Draco's relationship, played a prank on Draco, and Draco opened up a little. I tried to get everyone in on this quiz.

  1. The weeks leading up to Halloween have been fairly undisturbed. Kyle hasn't tried to make amends, nor has Draco said any unusual things. Lewis and I have been getting to know each other more and Seamus and I were on a regular talking basis.
  2. "What have you done to your hair?" Lewis exclaims once he sees me. "It's Halloween, in the muggle world you dress up for Halloween, this is the closest I could get," I reply as I grab a strand of hair changing from purple to pink from the Comb-a-Chameleon.
  3. Lewis just shrugs off my muggle-ness and we continue eating. For some reason breakfast seemed quiet. I don't know if it's me or him, but it seemed rude to find out.
  4. "Hey Lewis, is everything alright?" I finally muster up the courage to ask him. He glances at me and quickly looks away, "Yeah, it's all good," he mutters quickly. I eye him and notice his hunched shoulders, eyes to the floor, not his usual behavior. But I let it be and leave him to his classroom.
  5. I know that when I look up Seamus is waiting to join me. "Hi there Annalise. What's with your hair?" He says confused. I give him a confused look while I say, "What, is there something in it? Someone said the same thin earlier,"
  6. "It's changing color, look!" He swipes a strip off my shoulder and puts it in front of my face. I laugh and grab his hand. "I know I'm just joshing you. I wanted to 'dress up' so to say, for Halloween. It's one of my favorite holidays," I explain. Seamus starts to turn a little pink, I don't realize why until he pulls back his hand and wipes it on his robes. "Sorry, my palms are sweaty,"
  7. "I got to go, bye," Seamus says hurriedly and leaves me in the hall. I smile to myself as I start walking towards the astronomy tower.
  8. "Annie, stop," a most dreaded yet familiar voice said right next to me. I try not to let my step falter, but it happens anyway. "Stop being such a snob and let me talk to you," Kyle says and yanks my arm, facing me towards him. I'm determined not to speak to him and he takes it as an okay to talk. "Umm... I actually didn't think I'd get this far,"
  9. I roll my eyes and start towards the dormitory. "Okay, not the right words, but if-" "Do you understand how done I am with you?" I cut him off, fed up with his constant attack. "Just let me be. Forget about what ever you want to tell me and leave me alone," I say steadily. Kyle just stares at me silent and I leave him standing like that.
  10. I decide against going to the dormitories because he could confront me there as well. A thought strikes me and tells me where I can hide for a good while.
  11. On the third floor, a ruckus sound near me, by the Room of Requirement. I creep around the corner and see Draco come out of the doors to the room. He keeps looking over his shoulder, jumping at the slightest sound. This strikes me odd and I step into his path just before he can pass me.
  12. "What are you hiding?" I ask right when he stops. "Nothing that concerns you, you filthy mudblood," He strikes with his usual force but he's behind the comment. It seems like that's been the case this year.
  13. I sigh and start to rub my forehead. "Would you stop using that name, saying it once hurts, but after that it just gets pathetic," Draco is taken back by this statement and comes back to reality. "Just leave me alone," he says and start towards me, but I block his path again. Up close I can see that not only was he nervous, but a little scared and tired too.
  14. An urge within me brought me a step closer to him. "What's wrong Draco?" I ask as I place my hand on his cheek. At first he tenses, then he relaxes a little. When I think I might have gotten to him he jerks away from me. "Piss off," he says quietly and walks away.
