hey you were right!!I AM FROM THE MIDLANDS!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

Well, they said I didn't have an accent. I'm a "linguist" , and I'm Canadian, so I DEFINITELY have a different accent. I don't sound like an American.

It said that I had a midland accent. Wich means I'm from Misouri or something, wich is TOTALLY right!! That's pretty cool. Oh and of course horrible sounds at the beginning like whore!!

I have a Boston accent. I was born and raised there, but now I live on the west coast. I'm planning on moving back soon.

Hey, I live in the Midwest states, and have never lived in the south...But I received that accent. Well, I love the way they speak and try to imitate it. When alone and talking to myself, I find myself talking with a southern accent. Aren't we all funny? I AM happy with what I got. Xavier Kun, keep on doing good quizes.

I am a linguist. What is most important is the people you associate with regularly. Our society is such a mixture of relocated people that striking generalities are just that. Regional, ethnic, racial, etc. accents influence us in many ways.

How funny - said I had a "North Central" accent (is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent) and that outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot.

WTH! Missouri definately isn't accentless! We Worsh our Cars instead of Wash them! People in St. Louis don't sound at all like the "Folks" in the "Bootheel" where it's definately a drawling sort of accent.

Wow...way off for me. I have lived in upstate New York all my life and they said I should be from the mid east. I certainly don't call carbonated drinks pop : /

Rated "The Midland." I'm from SoCal, never even been to The Midland. But, It's nice to know that the test confirms what I have always claimed... I do not have an accent.

Inland North??? I grew up in a Houston suburb and now live in rural Texas. I make an effort to speak correctly but these questions don't touch our regional accent errors. Thanks for trying.

I took this quiz..It says I have a midland accent? I'm from central Arizona have lived here all my lifeIt didn't work for me.

I took it and it said i have a boston accent...i'm not from there but i live in new england aswell! this quiz was pretty right, "pahk yowa cah by da habbah yahd". Also i dont see how the western accent is "neutral" not only do they have a strong accent they have a weird dialect like saying "pop" instead of soda, c'mon it says soda on the can!
