  2. You are snuggled up against warm fur, your siblings asleep at your sides. Your mother, Creekflower, you think her name was, was telling you stories. Stories of hunting prey, fighting enemies, watching the seasons change between leaf-bare to New-leaf to Green-leaf to Leaf-fall, all in the forest beyond the camp.
  3. Next to you, you feel stirring. One of your siblings is waking up. Hearing a yawn on the other side, you turn to see your other sibling open their eyes. "Now that you're all awake, why don't you go outside and play?" Creekflower suggested. "Okay!" One of your siblings agrees.
  4. You take a look around the camp from the nursery entrance. "It's so big!" One of your siblings exclaims. The other one turns to you. "What do you want to do?"
  5. You all ended up playing 'Catch the stray leaf'. As you chase the little orange thing in the crisp, cool air, you trip and stumble into somecat. You get up and ruffle your fur, looking up at the cat. He looks pretty angry.
  6. Your siblings take you to the medicine cat's den to see if you where hurt. "Medicine cat?" Your sibling calls. "Yes?" A deep ginger she-cat steps into view. "___kit got hurt." "What happened?" She kneels down at you. "I accidentally ran into a cat." You explain. "Okay." She nods, looking all over you for injuries. "Will ___kit be okay, Dawnpetal?" Your sibling asks. "There's not a scratch on her." Dawnpetal replies. You look at an herb on the ground. It was a little leaf that looked tasty!
  7. You and your siblings leave the den, and you are talking about herbs, when somecat walks up to you. "Are you Creekflower's kits?" She asks. "Yes." You reply. "I am Ravenstep." She introduces. "I'm your mother's sister." "Cool!" Your sibling pips up. "What was Creekflower like when she was a kit?" "Oh, awful." Ravenstep says, rolling her eyes at her memory. "When she was three moons old, she left camp to go fox catching!" "Wow!" You exclaim. "But instead she caught a bug." "Aww!" They whine.
  8. "Tell me another story!" Your sibling asks. "Okay. How about the time Creekflower decided to change her name to Cloudkit?" "Ooh, tell me!" "One day, she decided that she hated water, so, she talked with the clan leader and her mother about changing her name to Cloudkit. The night before her re-naming ceremony, a huge thunderstorm of lightning and rain fell and fell and fell. When our mother told us rain came from clouds, Creekflower changed her mind immediately. And so, this is why your mother's name isn't Cloudflower." You and your siblings started to laugh together when Creekflower came up to them. "Ravenstep?" She asks. "Uh oh." Ravenstep walked away and called to some other cat "May I be on hunting patrol?" And when the cat said yes, she ran off. "So," Creekflower asks as you all walk back to camp. "What did you kits do today?"
  9. When you go back to the nursery, you see a new nest. And a new cat laying in it. "Who's that?" You ask. "I'm Lightbird." The she-cat says. "I just moved into here." "Why?" Your sibling asks. "I'm expecting kits." "Well, we are the only kits in the clan." Your sibling replies, confused. "So, here we are." You keep yourself from laughing. "No, you silly furball." Creekflower runs her tail over the three kits. "Lightbird is going to give birth to kits." "Yes." Lightbird nods happily. "You'll get to have some new friends."
  10. You and your siblings become good friends with Lightbird, and you all can't wait to meet her kits. A few moons later, she gives birth to two healthy toms, Willowkit and Oakkit. All of you welcome the kits with open paws. (Arms) You and Oakkit grow very close and are very good friends. One day, you both go to the Elder's den and listen to stories. Soon, your mother rushes into the den and over too you. "Where have you been?" She drags you out of the den. "What's happening?" You ask. "Wait and see."
  11. You arrive at the front of the nursery to see your sibling's pelts unusually well groomed. "It's our apprentice ceremony!" Your sibling whispers excitedly. "Now?" You ask in shock. "Yes, now!" Creekflower starts grooming your fur anxiously. You see a pure white she-cat jump onto the Highrock and yowl "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!"
