  1. Jason and I got a house together right before we went on our honeymoon. Jason and his stubbornness insisted that we get a two-story house that was borderline extravagant. The outside of the house was charcoal grey, and it had a wrap around porch. It kind of looked like a mini-castle, minus the towers. The yard was average size, not that I actually paid attention to it half the time. We had a swimming pool in the backyard, along with a shooting range. I was against the shooting range, but compromised with Jason to put a Jacuzzi in our master bathroom. The house had four bedrooms, and three bathrooms. What we need three bathrooms and three extra rooms for I have no clue.
  2. I walked inside and threw my keys on the table beside the door. I hadn't eaten since noon and was starving. I kicked off my hightops and trudged on into the maroon-colored kitchen. I opened the stainless steel fridge and rummaged around until I found some leftover lasagna from when Jason's aunts came over. It never failed. Any of his relatives came by the house, no matter for what reason they would always bring food.
  3. It was no sooner that I had sat down on the couch and turned on the television than the doorbell rang. I sighed. I put my plate of food down and patted across the tile floor. I opened the door to the bright smile of my friend Danni Poseidon. He was my bestest gay friend in the whole wide world. But he could get annoying at times. He was one of my bridesmaids at my wedding, so that should tell you how close we are. "Hiya angel. How are ya?" he asked, walking inside. "Tired, and starving," I said, eyeing my plate that was on the coffee table. "Oh well, you go ahead and eat. I can tell you right now I'll be doing most of the talking," Danni said, sitting Indian-style on my black leather couch. The inside of my house was similar to Armando's house, since Jason had the same taste of furniture that his father did. The walls were a sort of light grey and the ceilings and trim around them were were black. "So anyways," Danni began. "This morning when I was working at Hot Topic, this amazingly huge box of belts came in and they were so awesome!" I went on, saying uh-huh and yep when I was supposed to, and eating at the same time. When Danni ran out of things to say, he asked me about my day. By this time, I was finished eating my delicious lasagna, so I was willing.
  4. I told him about nearly getting into a car accident that morning because of some idiot not knowing how to use their turn signals. I told him about the guy that attacked me in the office and Jason's reaction. "So Jason is killing him as we speak?" Danni squeaked, horror written all over his face. "I told him not to kill the guy, but I don't know. He was pretty pissed," I said, hugging the throw pillow.
  5. A little after Danni left, which was at eleven o'clock, Jason came home. The alarm system told me that someone was coming down the long driveway, so I watched out the window for him. He walked in the door and threw his jacket down on the floor, not bothering to hang it up. I greeted him warmly. I wordlessly ran and leaped into his arms.
  6. The look on his face was wary at first, but then he smiled and kissed me. "Hungry?" I asked him. "Yeah, do we have anything in the fridge?" "You know for a fact there is everything you could imagine in the fridge right now. What do you want me to warm up?" "Surprise me," Jason said, putting me down. "M'kay," I said, wandering into the kitchen. "So where did you stuff his body?" I asked as I warmed up some chicken Alfredo. "In the ICU at the hospital," Jason said, taking off his boots. I brought him his dinner and we watched Mindfreak until it was one in the morning.
  7. The next morning it was Saturday, so the both of us slept in late until the sun started bothering our eyes. "Remind me to tint those retarded windows," Jason mumbled as I got up and stumbled blindly into the bathroom. When I was getting Monsters out of the fridge and popping Toaster Strudels in the toaster, the phone started ringing. "Good lord, can't we have one normal weekend to ourselves??" I whined as Jason answered it. "Hello?" he said. It clearly wasn't good news. Jason's face kind of faltered, so right away it had my attention. "Alright thanks," Jason said, and hung up. "What's going on now?" I asked, biting into my Strudel. "Toretto is in the hospital. He tried to commit suicide last night," Jason said, stealing a bite of my food.
  8. My jaw was hanging down and my chewed up food was showing. Jason shut my mouth with his hand. "What kind of no-brained idiot would even think about calling here to tell me, of all people this?" I said after I swallowed the remainder of my strudel. "That was Cassandra," Jason said, drinking some of my Monster. Good lord, couldn't he get his own food? Cassandra was one of the nicest people I knew. But unfortunately she was a mother to the idiot I called my ex. She was torn up when I broke up with her son for cheating on me. But she realized it wasn't my fault and she could see why I did what I did.
  9. "So are we going to go see him?" I asked, making a mental note to myself not to punch him in the face like I did at my wedding reception when I had gotten a text saying that the girl whose name was apparently Cheyenne had gotten pregnant by Alec in the first place. "I wasn't planning on it, but if you want to," Jason said, looking up at me from the skateboarding magazine we had on the counter. I finished the rest of my food, downed the rest of my Monster and went upstairs to get ready. I settled with a Gir hoodie with purple and black trick shorts. I slapped my make-up on and slid my high tops on. I threw my hair into a messy ponytail. I was looking in mirror when Jason came in and tackled me onto our huge bed.
  10. "What are you doing?" I asked, laughing. "Distracting you," he said, kissing my neck. "You missed the chance for morning sex two hours ago," I said giggling. "It's not morning anymore, its afternoon. So I want afternoon sex," Jason said, pinning me to the bed. "Well you're not going to get it. I have a ton of things to do today," I said, wriggling away from a disappointed husband. God that was so weird to say. I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
  11. "Are we taking your car or mine?" Jason asked, taking my hand and dragging me down the hall. We reached the top of the stairs and looked at each other. Then we both slid down the railing. It was never fun to walk down the steps. Not that it was ever fun to go up them either. I guess we were just keeping a part of our somewhat normal teenage years. Once we were at the bottom, I turned to Jason. "We can take the Nova if you want to." "Its your choice." "And I just made my choice." "We can take the Camero if you really want to," Jason said, starting to get that cute-but-annoying-teasing-thing going on again. "Jason Wesley Gionni," I said, looking at him as if he were a child. Jason just grinned really wide.
  12. "Erica Esme Carmical-Gionni," he said, waiting until I scoffed at him to grab me and swing me onto his back and then walk out to the car. And the whole time I was on his back, I was jokingly suggesting...dirty things in his ear; very nearly making him turn back to the house several times. This made me to laugh so hard I thought I was going to cry.
  13. When we finally got to the hospital, I took a deep breath. "I don't think I can do this," I said, gripping the unbuckled seatbelt. "Babe, you wanted to do this," Jason said, prying my hands away from my seatbelt. "Yeah I know," I sighed, getting out of the car. I grabbed Jason's hand once we were inside the building and walked up to the nurse's desk. This was weird. Last time I was here, it was a day before Jason and I were going to get married, and I was demanding to know which room my brother was in after he was in a car accident. Well, Caleb's not actually my brother, but he might as well be. But that's what I thought about Jason too and looks what happened. But anyways, Caleb, who had been my friend since the sixth grade when he, his brother Conner, and his parents had moved into the neighborhood, had gotten into a car wreck and I went crazy. I even threatened the doctor within an inch of his life, if that gives you any kind of clues. "What room is Alec Toretto in?" I asked the nurse. She smiled at me and said, "Room 419, hun." As Jason and I walked down the hall, I saw this little girl sitting in a wheelchair at the end of the hall. She was about eight or nine. She looked pretty sick, but she still managed to smile at me, and I waved softly back and returned a smile. We approached room 419 and I peeked inside.
