  1. “No need to have hostile thoughts Erica, I was just stating facts,” he said, kissing my jaw. Oh believe me, my thoughts were far from hostile at that moment in time, if ya know what I mean. The ride finally got to the ground, and I nearly jumped for joy. (I am indeed a land lover.) Alec kissed my cheek and we set off. Now apparently, what looked like a bunch of 8th grade girls watched Alec kiss me and started saying crap like “Get a room,” and “This is a public, family environment.” I’m not one for constant anger, but this totally pissed me off. I let go of Alec’s hand and marched right up to those little prep-wannabes. While I was stomping my way over to the tramps, I heard Alec sigh and say,” Erica, they’re not worth it. Come on love.” I ignored him as I noted that there were only 3 blondes and one brunette. I could take ‘em.
  2. “Listen, I don’t care who you are or what the hell you want, but you don’t even know me.” I hissed, as I watched their faces change from concerned to scared. I felt Alec wrap his arms around my waist, holding me back. “So might I suggest you shut your little tini-boppin traps and get a f---ing life. Oh, and by the way, the whole damn world is my fu*king room, so you better just back the hell off.”
  3. Alec practically forced me to turn around and away from the dumb-struck girls. As we walked away, I could tell that Alec was upset. Right now, I could care less. I was still radiating with fury. I calmed myself down enough to try and figure out what was wrong. “Alec, I never told you I didn’t have a temper. You saw sighed and then saw Ashley and Bonnie coming towards us.what I did the first day you were here.” I said, still trying to calm down. I caught a glimpse at his face, his look was solid. I wasn’t getting crap outta him right now. I “Dude, this place is freaking awesome,” Bonnie exclaimed, taking a bite of her cotton candy. “Lookie what I won!” Ashley said as she held up a giant blue stuffed pig. I laughed. “Cute. I’m tired. Are you guys ready to go yet?” I glanced up at Alec. He was putting on a smile so no one would worry…. “Yeah sure. Lemme call everyone so we can go,” Bonnie said, whipping out her blackberry and already dialing numbers.
  4. “Meet ya at the cars then,” I said, and started off. Alec didn’t say a word, just held my hand and walked almost like a zombie. I really screwed up this time. Damn. “What’s wrong?” I asked when we were inside the warm car. There was Rob Zombie playing from hidden speakers within the car. “Nothing,” he muttered. I couldn’t argue any further because Schelby, Bonnie, Laura, and Jason opened the back doors, all laughing like drunken hyenas. “Where’s everyone else?” Alec asked, putting his act back on….the loser, talks to everyone but me… “They’re riding with Ashley,” Bonnie said, still giggling. I kept looking over at him the whole time we were dropping our friends off. He was smiling-still the act- but his eyes didn’t meet the smile. We pulled up to Jason’s house.
  5. “Thanks for the ride Toretto.” Jason said opening the door. He paused before he stepped out. “Bye Erica.” I turned around in my seat to look at Jason. The way he said bye, it sounded like he was sad or something. I smiled at him, widely to cheer him up. “Bye Jason.” His eye twinkled and I saw a corner of his mouth twitch in a half smile. He left the car and I turned back around.
  6. . I looked over at Alec and he was staring at me. His jawline was sticking out like a fireman’s would. “What?” I asked, confused as hell. He just turned back to the road. He stopped the car in front of my house. He leaned over and kissed me as usual, but he kissed me…like he was never going to see me again. It was long. Then, he pulled back and looked at me. I turned so self-cautious, I nearly laughed. I looked at him for an instant, and then got out of the car. I heard him actually laugh as I shut the door. I blew a kiss at the car and turned toward the house.
  7. The lights were still on in the living room so I knew Aunt Lisa was still awake. Which was normal, considering it was only 10:15. I walked in the door and heard the TV blaring and Aunt Lisa humming with the music. “Erica?” she called when I shut the door. “Nope, the boogeyman. And the only one willing to live in this crazy house,” I said, eyeing the icecream cups, magazines, and nail polish on the coffee table. “Oh hush. So how was the amusement park?” she asked. “Except the fact that I nearly beat up a couple of idiots, it was totally fun,” I said, heading up the stairs. She sighed. “You and your issues.” Aunt Lisa and I have never really had a close relationship. Never have, probably never will. She just lets me do what I want most of the time as ling as I aide by the state laws and I’m in the house by at least one o’clock on school nights. I took my black and blue striped jacket off, plugged my iPod into my iHome, and unlaced my hightops. I flopped down on my bed and turned on my phone. Now to fix a few problems….

I didn’t get what he meant. Then I realized, the attitude started after I approached those girls. BlackBloodyHeart214:I’m sry abt the anger thing, its not a common thing w/ me.. Toretto652993:its k luv, just don’t like it much.. After that it was fine. He seemed to come alive again. I ended up going to bed 2:30 that night. I had a dream that night too. It was weird, but cool. Alec and I were married and had a kid. Scary, I know. We lived in a house, huge house, but over half of our friends lived in the same house. It must have been the conversation we had before I went to sleep.
  9. Time went by during the school year. It was May 15th, and we had a week before school let out for summer. Alec and I hadn’t had a fight since the carnival thing. We had already gotten to school and waiting for the bell to ring. “I just don’t see why I can’t find the guy that’s for me,” I heard Danni complain for the second time this morning. The whole thing was getting on my nerves, plus it doesn’t help that Mother Nature was kicking my ass royally.
  10. “Danni, will you just please shut the hell up? If you’re having so much trouble, why don’t you go straight?” I suggested, leaning up against Alec. I saw Danni’s head swing around towards me like somebody slapped the crap outta him. “Are you insane????” he demanded. “Have you lost your ever-loving mind?” Kenna laughed. “What I think Erica’s trying to say is maybe you could go bi for awhile,” she said to him. Danni snorted. ”You guys are so f---ing funny I forgot to laugh.” Laura started laughing so hard she was nearly crying, and even Alec started chuckling behind me. A couple of minutes later, the bell rang and we all hurried off to finish our finals. I had 1st, 4th, and 7th period exams today, and of course, I had all those classes with Alec so I could get through the day for now. Alec- being the know it all- was finished within the first twenty minutes of the hour-and-a-half class period. I finished ten minutes after he did.
  11. We could go into the other science labs after we were done with our tests, so Alec and I walked hand in hand down the hall. When we reached the room, Laura and Jason greeted us at the door. “How do ya think you did?” Laura asked me when we were sitting in a dark corner of the room, opposite of the prepwannabes. “s---, I don’t know.” I said, laying my head down on the cool floor in-between Jason and Alec. Alec laughed at me and Jason said,” You would be the one to do that Erica.” I stuck my tongue out at him and sat up. I pulled out my iPod and when I heard Slipknot blaring, I changed it to Korn and turned the volume down. Alec laid his head on my thighs. Since I only had one earbud in, I heard the annoying sound of someone deliberately grinding their teeth.
  12. I looked up and saw Laura playing her Nintendo DS so I knew it wasn’t her. I snuck a glance at Jason and saw that he was staring intently at Alec, who was now playing with my long, black hair. Dude, what the hell? Ever since Alec and I got together, Jason doesn’t really act like himself anymore. Hmm…and he says I’m the strange one. Oh well…
