Our "When Will I Die" Quiz?

  1. I stepped outside of the school and breathed in the sweet smell of the summer air. The fregrence you only smelled on the last day of school. As I walked down the sidewalk, I felt happy and free, not bearing the weight of school work anymore. It was a perfect day; the sky was clear, the Sun was bright and there was a light, warm breeze that smelled like flowers and freshly cut grass. I absorbed it all. But then the Sun disapeared behind a cloud and the wind picked up, blowing my hair around my face. My bright cheery mood was replaced with a dark, erie one. Something was off. My gut was telling me something was very wrong. When my gut says theres something wrong, theres something wrong.
  2. I stopped and looked up at the ominous sky. It was covered in dark grey clouds and I could already see lighning flashing. I have never seen weather change this fast. I felt a couple drops of rain. I needed to get home before it got much worse. I stuffed my hands in my pockets and picked up the pace. I wasnt planning on stopping until I got home, but then a huge, black crow landed on the telephone wire next to me. It was the largest- and the most beautiful- creature I had ever seen. I was mesmerized by its beauty. Its long, sleek body was almost the size of my head. Its feathers were as dark as a moonless night and were so shiny I could almost see my reflection in them. Thats when I saw its red eyes. They stared at me, peircing me. My blood ran cold.
  3. My gut lerched and I felt like I was going to puke. I had never been this scared in my life. I could feel the blood drain from my face and my pants grow wet with a warm liquid. I got panicky. I just wanted to run, but I was so stunned that I couldnt. The bird just stared at me with its blood red eyes. It was holding me there with its gaze. I coldnt move, I couldnt even blink. The crow lowered its head down to the wire, and opened its beak. It had large, pointy teeth, that it used to sever the wire. Everything happened in slow motion. The bird flew to a nearby tree as fast as the lightning that flashed around me, as if it didnt want to miss the show. The wire hurled towards me, and before I knew what was happening, I was laying on the ground, electricity surging through my body. I spasmed and everything went black. I didnt last long enough to register any pain, but one thing I did feel was something soft land in my mouth as I drew in my last breath. It was a feather. The feather of a crow.
