  1. I took a deep breath. How was I going to do this? Explain slowly, or just get straight to the point. "It was about you and Cyndonia." I said quickly, and decided getting straight to the point was better. His jaw flinched when I said her name. "What did you see?" My heart was twisting slowly. "I don't remember much," I lied, "but.. she said something about using." I avoided eye contact again. I remembered how she said they dated, and it hurt to even think about it. Patch didn't respond so I continued, "did you date her?" I asked my eyes tearing. I looked up at Patch, and he slowly nodded.
  2. I felt tears sting my eyes, and my throat was swelling up. I couldn't say anything. My heart had just twisted itself slowly into a million knots that were tightening by the second. Patch stared at me with his endless black eyes, waiting for a response. I stood up and jogged out of the room. "___!" Patch called after me, but it was to late. Tears were glistening down my face like a river. I didn't know where to go, Patch was in my room. I opened the bathroom door and slammed it shut behind me, leaning my back against it and slide down and curled my knees up to my chest.
  3. I felt like my world was crumbling around me, right under my feet. How can I handle something like this? How long ago was this? Was he in love with her? I cringe at my last thought and continue to cry. I jumped, startled when someone knocked on the door. "Hello?" Anybody in here?" I heard Ezra's voice. I needed her more then ever right now, so I opened the door quickly and pulled her in. "Ah!" She screamed in surprised, but her face quickly appeared worried as soon as she saw me. "____?" her eyes widened and she embraced me in her eyes. I hugged her tightly and let all my sorrow out. I can't remember the last time I cried this hard, and that's when it hit me. I was falling in love with Patch.
  4. Finally, what felt like hours later, Ezra asked me what was wrong. I choke out the words, "Cydonia.. and Patch." My voice was dry and hoarse. "What?" She pulled away looking me straight in the eye. She had no idea what I was trying to explain. I wiped my tears away and took a deep breath. "Cydonia is Patch's ex girlfriend." There. I said it. Even thought It felt like a knife was pressing down into my heart as I said those words. Ezra's jaw dropped. In surprise? Anger? I wasn't sure. I then saw her eyes go cold. "Your crying over Patch?" She said Patch in a harsh voice. "I knew he was going to end up hurting you. I should go give him a piece of my mind." She tried to stand up but I grabbed her arm harshly and held her down. "No! Please Ezra..." I looked her dead in the eye. "I can't handle anymore right now.." I whispered and swallowed back the new lump in my throat.
  5. She looked at e and her eye brows furrowed together. "Fine. But only for you." She sat back down with me and hugged me tightly. I would've cried, but I had no more tears. I felt.. different. Like I had a giant hole in my heart. Like all my feelings had been drained from me. "I'm hungry," I lied and pulled away. In reality I just had to get out, get some fresh air. Think. "We have no food.." Ezra frowed. "It's okay," I reassured her, "I'll go out and get something. I'm kind of craving Chinese anyways." I gave her a lazy smile, which she returned. "Ok, but don't over think to much okay?" She rubbed the sides of my arms and hugged me again. I was surprised by the bear hug, but it's what I needed, and it made me smile.
  6. "I'll let you go now, Ezra gave me one last smile, and with that I was left alone in the bathroom. I quickly looked in the mirror and wasn't to happy with what was staring back at me. I grabbed a cloth and removed what was left of my mascara. My cheeks were flushed, and my eyes were red and puffy. I took a deep breathe and hoped that I wouldn't run into any one on my way out. I slowly slipped out the door and creeped my way into the living room. I didn't realize that I was holding my breath until I let out a deep breathe of relief that no one was in here. I grabbed my keys, which were on the side table by the doors, and walked out. Only to run into someone else. "Crap," I muttered and looked up. Oh. Jack.
  7. "oh he- are you crying?" His eyes went from bright and beautiful, to dark and worried. "Erm- no." I avoided eye contact. He then grabbed my chin and tilted my face up to look at him. "Whats wrong" He stared me straight in the eye, which sent a strange feeling through out my body. "Nothing," I turned my face away from him and stared down and my feet. I heard him take a deep breathe. "Want to go out?" He changed the subject, which made me happy. "Yeah," I nodded and shut the door behind me.
  8. I slid into the passenger seat of Jack's fancy black car. The leather comforting me, ad the smell.. it smelled so good. It was intoxicating. Jack started the car and speed down the street, making me grab onto my seat in fear. "Where are we going?" i asked and finally had the guts to look at him. He turned and his eyes were alive and burning. It sent chills down my body. in a good way though. "It's a surprise," He smirked and my heart melted. ~ 20 minutes later Jack pulled into an empty park. Only it was beautiful. Since it was fall all the trees were a pretty shade of red and orange and the cool air felt so refreshening.
  9. "Wow," I said as I spun around, taking in my surroundings. I stopped once I was facing Jack. "You like?" He asked. "Like? I love it here!" I smiled, and actually meant it. His eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas. "Any certain reason you chose to come here?" I asked as he stood there in his black sweater. It made his eyes a million times brighter, and I could stare at them all day. But I'm sure that would be creepy. Jack shrugged, "I come here when I'm i a bad mood, or am feeling down." Oh. Patch was once again in my mind, but I shook the thought away. I didn't want to make myself feel like crap in such an amazing place. "Well, I like it here." I smiled at him. "You haven't even seen the best part." He smiled back and I felt happy that he was the person I had run into.
  10. "Come on," He put his hands in his pockets and started leading the way to who knows where. "I love fall," I said as I looked at the colorful trees surrounding us. I turned back to Jack and found him smirking at me. "What?" I couldn't hold back my laugh. He looked.. amused. "Nothing," His smile widened and he faced forward again. I studied him for a moment. His dark hair messy, yet so attractive. His eyes, oh. I loved his eyes the most. He looked at me, catching me staring. I blushed at looked away quickly. "Like the view?" I could practically hear him smiling. I looked at him from the corner of my eyed and he looked away. I rolled my eyes and smiled to myself. The wind was kissing my skin, and it chills against my skin, making me shiver a little. "Cold?" Jack stopped and turned to face me. "No, I'm fine." I lied. "You're lying," He grinned and grabbed the bottom of his shirt. "Erm- uh.." I awkwardly stood there as he stripped. Of course he had a t-shirt underneath. As he stretched the shirt above his head I caught a glimpse of his stomach. I blushed as he gave me his shirt.
  11. "Thanks," I said as I grabbed it from him and slid it over my head. It was a little big but it was so warm.. and smelled so good. "Are you sure your not cold? I felt kinda bad." I stared at him and he smiled at me amused by what I just said. "I'm not exactly human, remember?" He stared at me and I blushed, feeling a little dumb. Of course, fallen angels don't feel a lot of things. Obviously.. I thought about Patch and once again shook the unwelcome thought out of my head. "You look good in my shirts," Jaack stared at me with his intense blue eyes. I gasped, that's what was different. His eyes were more blue now. A really pretty and rare blue. Wait what did he just say? "Uhm.. thanks?" I looked straight ahead. "So where is the special place your talking about?" I asked as we continued walking. "We're close," He replied.
  12. I saw a bridge up ahead and the sounds of water falling. The closer we got to the bridge, the louder the noise got. It wasn't to noisy, it was actually quite peaceful. "Tada," Jack said as we got onto the stone bridge. My jaw instantly dropped. "Where are we?" I asked looking at the river flow calmly. We were standing on a bridge that overlooked town. At since it was the evening it was breathtaking. "We're on the outskirt of town, no on comes here much." He said staring at me. "This place is amazing," I continued to stare at the amazing view right before me. "So are you," He whispered. I flushed and stared at him from the corner of my eyes. Jack had an affect on me, I use to think it was bad.. but now I' starting to think its actually good.
  13. "Can I ask you something?" Jack turned to face me and leaned on the stone railing. My heart beat increased rapidly. "Sure," I replied in a small voice. "Why were you crying?" His eyes didn't leave mine. "and don't tell me you weren't, cuz you're not a good liar." He added. I looked away quickly. "I found out that Patch use to date this crazy girl who killed my parents." My stomach tightened. Jack was silent, and the next thing I knew his arms were wrapped around me and I was pressed to him. "I'm sorry." He hugged e tightly. I was shocked, but being i his arms.. kinda made me feel better. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him back tightly. "Don't be. It's not you fault.." I whispered.

  15. "Get the h-ll away from her." I heard an angry voice, which made me jump and pull away from Jack. I turned to see who it was and my hear dropped, could this day get any worse. "Patch, what are you doing here?" I asked. "I could ask you the same thing." He snapped. Oh. He was mad.. at me? I felt the blood in my veins begin to boil. I should be the one mad. "Why are you doing this Jack?" Patch stared him down. "Doing what?" Jack raised an eyebrow in amusement, which seemed to piss of Patch even more. "You can't take her away from me." Oh, of course. This was about me. Jack scoffed, "She's not yours to take." His blue eyes were burning with intensity. "Ok stop." I took a step away from Jack so that I was standing in the middle of them. "You can't talk her away from me." Patch ignored me. I stared at him with anger. "You mean just like you took me away from Jake in my past life?" I snapped. I saw his reaction change to shocked, as if I weren't suppose to know that. "Yeah, I know about that. I'm not yours," I continued yelling. "So why don't you just leave me alone ad go call Cyndonia." I instantly regreted saying those words, but I was just do angry. The next thing I knew, I tears were running down my face and I was running away from both of them.
