Our "When Will I Die" Quiz?

  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. Dinner was great as usual, but now, Kat was dragging me down some hall. She turned into a room and took me with her. It was no doubt her room. This room was luxurious and decorated in purples and blues. She ran into her closet and came out wearing a super skimpy bikini. It was colored in thin zig zags of yellow and green, and the straps were silver metal loops. I watched as she slipped on a super baggy white shirt. The sleeves ended at her elbows, and the shirt stretched past her butt. This was just a swimsuit cover up so I knew that the see through effect was on purpose. She smiled at me, "I found out you only have conservative s--- in your closet so I brought you to mine! We are going swimming and I want you to feel good. Go choose something!" I then found myself pushed into her closet and found twinge of guilt surface within me. She had everything, from the formal stuff I have to wonderful, beautiful jeans. I dug around through her swimwear and chose...
  2. I followed her out and to our surprise, squirrels were waiting for us outside. "Apparently somebody knows what we do at all times here." She giggled. "I suppose." I responded with a laugh. We got on and were taken to the very bottom of the tree. "The pool is down here?" I asked her as we got off of the squirrels. She nodded her head and began down another hall. I followed her and soon found myself facing another door. We opened it, and I gasped. It was the best pool I had ever seen! The pool was large, some parts deep, others not. The shape was square, and a hot tub was centered and raised in the middle, easy to climb into. Everything else was carved into what seemed the top of the root. A bar was carved into one side, while a fire place in another. There was another small little pool carved in the root separate of the main one. Out of it rose tables and you could see seats barely submerged. It was an in pool eating area covered in a silk canopy. Around the pool were multiple seats to lounge in and sun. But it was night, so that wouldn't be my purpose tonight. The three moons set plenty of light on the pool, making everything easy to see. But nonetheless, everything had a blue under glow to it. Kat snapped me from my admiration when she handed me an orange fruity drink that was absolutely delicious. "Apparently they don't like alcohol here so they don't have it, Earth is one of the few places that still does. There's apparently a berry that has no taste and doesn't harm you that gives you a better feeling than any drug or drink on Earth. It's good for me... no hangover affects!" We touched our drinks together and I gave it a try. OH MY GOD. This is amazing! The drink itself tasted so great, but the feeling was even better! Everything that was touching my skin suddenly became so obvious, but in a good way. Everything felt good when it touched my skin. Everything sounded godly, and everything looked absolutely beautiful, even just the simple grains of the wood. I felt weightless, but my mind and senses still clear. We both looked at each other and smiled, she evidently liked it too. She put her drink down and dove into the pool, and I did so as well. The water was silky smooth against my skin and when I opened my eyes, they didn't sting. Kat and I played around and drank our fruity drinks. We tested different flavors that were absolutely delicious, and after each sip our experience was always the same. We were having such a great time together!
  3. The bartender was now seated with us under the silk canopy and laughing with us. He kept providing us new and fun drinks we couldn't help but invite him to join us. He gave us a surprise when a chef arrived. He had apparently called up his bud in the kitchen, and to our delight, he was the pastry chef. With him he brought donuts, cakes, muffins, and more. The four of us sat drinking and eating until we couldn't any more. The bartender and chef shared the same name, Nathaniel, and we were sure going to remember their names when we wanted to have fun in the pool. Kat and I grabbed our towels and waved goodbye to the boys, they sure were fun. We walked back and said no to the squirrels, we needed to work of all that sugar! To my relief, I still looked pretty good. Even though there are many things I hate about myself, my body is not one of them. I have the curves and the flat stomach, I looked like those Victoria's Secret models, without the fake. We were nearly to her room when we passed by large arching doorways. Chantou ran out and ran into us with surprise into her eyes. "Where have you been?" She asked. "Swimming." I responded, gesturing to our towels. If she had eyebrows, they'd be raised. I just giggled and shrugged, "We needed the exercise." Andor opened the door revealing that the kings were sitting inside as well. I smiled at him and he bowed in response. "Did you enjoy yourself?" he asked. "Thoroughly!" Kat responded, "Have you ever tried the drinks with the berries?" Chantou died laughing and Andor smiled, "It's about time you discovered those." Chantou took me by the shoulders, "Let us get you back." Alright that works for me. I said goodbye to Kat and Chantou took me back on a squirrel. Chantou left me and I decided to take a shower. The warm water was super refreshing, and the lavender soaps were amazing. Lavender being my favorite scent, I was happy. I walked out feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I found a small red satin night gown with black lace detailing. You know what, sometimes, I want to feel sexy, even if I won't see anyone. I brushed my hair out until it was dried. My hair was so silky soft and shiny, it was wonderful. I sank into my sheets, and instantly fell deep into sleep.
  4. I woke up to Chantou and the twin girls standing at my door. I smiled and stretched. I yawned out a question, but there was no way she could understand it. I gave a tired laugh while she gave me a warm smile and shrugged her shoulders. I asked again, this time she understood. "It's nine in the morning my lady." I nodded and gestured them over. I sat up in my bed and enjoyed another perfect breakfast. I finished and the twins left. Soon I found myself in the closet and choosing from the semi-formal section. "What am I doing today that requires this 'semi-formal' stuff?" She chuckled, "Tonight there is an important dinner with some of the important figures of your people. You will learn of their roles after lunch. It is merely easier for you to simply wear one thing for the day than change often." "I agree." I considered my options for a moment more and chose....
  5. After maybe 10 minutes I found myself in a carriage with Kat, Jared, and Chantou. Kat looked cute as always, today wearing a loose tan shirt tucked into a teal skirt, short in front and long in back. She had nude ankle boots, her black hair was straight, and her face accented in brown toned make up. Jared looked really cute too... wearing khaki pants, a white shirt, and white converse. His shirt hinted at his lean muscles and it made me keep looking back at him. We were all headed to the white room village. (Mental Note: Ask the name of the village.) Chantou had errands to run there, and I didn't know what to do so I decided to come. Kat learned about it and insisted on coming, she apparently wants to talk to the people here and learn about their odd fashions. Jared however was being forced on this excursion. Kat was determined to get him out of that library and into some air. However... my heart called back to that beautiful place. I was lost in thought about all the things I could learn in the library when we arrived in the little village. Chantou ran off, but not before she told us to enjoy ourselves and explore. We walked around for a bit, Kat commenting on everything in her own little way. We passed by the white room, and Kat stopped. Her face was overcome with thought. "What's wrong Kat?" I asked turning back to stay at her side, Jared did as well. "I want to show you guys something... but not here...." "Why don't you show us back at the tree?" Jared suggested. She shot him a death glare, then continued, "No, I have a better idea...." She turned and ran into the white room. Jared groaned and I looked at him, "What do we do?" He started to walk in after her and said over his shoulder, "Follow her, what else?" I sighed and walked in too. Yet, when I was inside... I was completely alone. "Guys?" I said a bit frightened. Then, to my utter surprise, I found myself being grabbed and put into a head lock. I gasped and nearly screamed, but I was gagged with some sort of cloth. I felt my hands tied, and I was pushed against the wall... by... by Kat.... I don't... I don't understand. I couldn't say a word though, due to the rag in my mouth. Jared appeared out of complete no where besides her, his face dark and his eyes sad. Kat however, looked entirely different. Gone was the pretty and chirpy upbeat girl I thought to be my friend, and here stood a girl with malice in her eyes, cruelty in her smile, and strength in her stance. "Surprise." She chuckled. Her voice was different too, lower and much darker. Jared pulled some stones from his pocket, at the same time placing dread in every cell of my body. They were blue, not translucent like the others, and each had a single vain a black running throughout it. Jared broke a stone, vanishing into whatever vortex before him. Kat rolled her eyes and approached me. I cringed at her touch and she let out a laugh of terrible cruelty. She took a stone and twirled it before my eyes, torturing me with what was to come. She then broke it in half with her fingers, threw it at my feet, and jumped clear. Before me appeared a black hole, and I fell into that black hole, only an occasional flash of blue light told me I remained alive.
  6. I eventually resurfaced in a room that was pitch black. The only way I knew that I had resurfaced was the hard and cold stone against my back, and the ocassional drip of some liquid. Torches were lit and I found myself in a cave like room. Kat and Jared stood over me along with two men I didn't recognize. They wore black hoods, and I could not see their faces. They took me by my upper arms and lifted me violently up. I nearly fell again, shedding a tear of fear. Jared growled at the men and they bowed down in obediance. Jared's face was still dark, his eyes still sad, but he held himself differently. He held himself with more dignity, more pride. He posture reminded me slightly of the three kings he has taken me from. I was escorted, still tied and gagged mind you, out around hallways and up stairways. The place was entirely vacant, yet, there was an eery feeling we were not alone. I was handled more gently since Jared's growl, but I was still so scared. Eventually we came into a long room lit with flames along the walls. At the end of the room was a throne, made up of... bones... I think. When at the base of the throne I was pushed to my knees, and I could see the others kneel. Before me appeared another hooded figure sitting in the throne. I was astonished, like Jared, he appeared out of no where. A dark chuckle filled the room. The man took off his hood and revealed a thin old man. His eyes such a light blue, they were nearly white. Upon his head sat a large arching crown made up of diamond. He waved at the two men and they vanished. My eyes widened but I remained silent. Kat and Jared stood, I stood to, though difficult without my arms. I watched the man, the king, before me rise and Kat ran to him and greeted him. "My beautiful daughter, I am proud, but was has taken you so long?" DAUGHTER? "Well, we couldn't take her from Earth, we had to be sure with the arrival of the tyrants. From there it was all the fault of Jared. He was too taken with that library of theirs." "You were allowed into their prescious library? And you stole nothing?" "Why would I steal anything? That would merely alert them, we would have never gotten her out of their sight after that. Not to mention they would instantly suspect us." Jared responded. "None the less, you should have left much earlier. I was left waiting too long." "Uncle, I was completely in control of the situation. We would have failed with the speed you insist to be possible. She was in a whirlwind of traditions and if we took her from that, red flags would be raised instantly." UNCLE? The king looked at him with a twinge of anger but turned back to his daughter. "Go get the rider, it is time to begin." What is beginning? What is going on? I am so confused and so scared... I want Andor and Chantou... Frankie and Mrs. Hill... hell, I want them all!
  7. I watched as Kat left the room. All of my fondness of her vanishing with her. My heart was crushed, but I know how to deal with this kind of pain. I felt my face harden, and my emotions dull. I was building yet another wall around my heart, this one would be far thicker and taller than the last. As my thoughts grew cold and calculating, my eyes drifted over to Jared. He was standing tall, and his eyes were colder than the stone. He was glaring at his uncle for some unknown vendetta. When I looked at the King, I found myself under his gaze. I couldn't believe the pride he held in his eyes, the cruel laughter. He almost seemed to be gloating. It hit me. He wasn't proud of anything his daughter or nephew had done. It was me. He was proud that he had managed to take me, as if he was the only one to be so high and mighty to manage it. I always found myself to be feline, now more than ever. I felt as my fearful stature grew to a strong and tall stance. My green eyes grew fiercer than any tiger's, and I even mustered up a snarl. He laughed at my sudden new posture and strode down from his throne. His white and bony hand reached out and held the bottom of my chin in such a degrading manor, that even I was surprised at my next action. I bit him. I had somehow overcome my gag. We both looked down at his hands as it began to bleed, and he slapped me across the face. It stung like no other, I could feel his long spidery fingers still there. I nearly lunged at him in anger when unfamiliar hands gripped my shoulders and held me back. "Do not lay another hand on her, she is not your property like other women may be. She is more valuable than you ever will be." The voice was soooo familiar, but... I couldn't place it. The king stared at him with a hate I had never seen before. Katryn came to her father's side and guided him back to his throne. The man holding me must be the 'rider'. I felt the myself being engaged, and the ropes around my hands were cut off. I whirled around to see the next man responsible for taking away my haven, and I tripped over myself in absolute astonishment. Before me stood Dr. Laroux, and he looked younger, my age.... How? He laughed and gave me a winning smile that would have melted me if it wasn't for my anger. "I will explain as I escort you to your room." He told me. "Cell" I coughed. He looked at me and laughed again. The king was standing again, about to protest me leaving, but Laroux spoke first, "Oh don't you fret your silly little overstuffed brain. She needs rest or at least some time to swallow the information I am going to supply her shortly. Maia is, again, more valuable than you can risk. Furthermore, without my support, your plan will crumble, and you know it. Without the support of the riders you will not have enough in numbers. Humor me." The king's face grew white with furry, but sat back into his throne.
  8. From there I was taken down a hall, on my way to whatever room they would keep me in. Laroux strode with confidence, but remained at my pace. I looked at him with such utter surprise, he laughed when he noticed me. He looked my age, when I thought he was older. How could this be? "Would you like me to answer your questions?" He inquired. I nodded in response. "Well, I shall begin with why I am here. I am a rider, which is one of the five superpowers. However, due to the fact that we were excluded from the treaty, we have been targeted and persecuted. Now in hiding." His french accent was still strong and oh so smooth. "The is no particular man or woman who leads the riders. We are completely independent unless in times of need. When those times arise, there is a certain family that is followed without question. The family is headed by a certain man or woman, the leader. I am this man. Therefore, I am here to sort out the matters at hand for the interest of my people. For the past two centuries, I have hidden on Earth. France in particular. The superpowers avoid the primitive planets, making it prime places for us to survive. I do not age like most however, so I merely apply aging make up to blend in so that I do not have to change locations as often. Sounds funny I know. I landed in your classroom rather by coincidence. When I saw your name however, it resounded in me so clearly, I knew it was you. The arrival of the kings only confirmed it. I only wished I had acted sooner." We walked for a minute in silence, but I had so many questions, I didn't allow it to last long. "What are you? And what are these people?" He sighed, pausing in his walk a moment. "They have not told you of the two other super powers?" His disbelief was extremely evident. "I've been here only a short time." He nodded, conceeding to my point, and we continued through the cave. "I am a rider. We are something incredibly complicated, so complicated that even our own do not yet know the entire truth of our existence. I will try to explain it in simple terms however. It would take too long otherwise. Long ago, my people were rather like you. However, our planet was alive with elemental activity. Over time, these elements were so active that they began to manifest into creatures of all shapes and sizes. In the beginning, we warred. Yet, we soon learned that survival was much more acheivable when allied. We created a pact that would change the nature of our entire beings. For our bodies to function once of age, we needed to physically bond with a beast of the elements, and vice versa. This created our name, riders, we ride the elements like no other can. The reason for my family being so powerful is due to how we bond with a creature not of one or a few alements, but of them all. They only exist in one at a time, but they can change so quickly that at times this doesn't seem the case. Particularly in battle. As for what they are, I would ask Jared." He finished, looking at me curiously.
  9. I was dazed, simply following my feet. I came back from my whirlwind of thoughts in front of an open door. Inside was a dimly lit room, apparently my cage. It was luxurious, decorated in silks of black and gold. I slowly wandered in, looking at this new home of mine. I turned to look sadly at my captor, and Laroux simply bowed and shut the door. I sat on the edge of the foreign bed and looked around. How long would I be here? Will I die here? Will I ever see those that I have come to love again? It's just my luck that I would find a place so wonderful. and have it violently torn for. Just a dream. That's all it was. I felt a warm, salty tear glide to my lip. I wiped it away, slowly losing myself in thoughts. I didn't know how long I sat there when a knock sounded throughout my room. When I didn't respond, the door opened slowly.Jared's head poked in, and I glared at him. He came in and shut the door behind him, rubbing his hand on his neck. I merely shook my head and looked away. "I won't let them hurt you." He began. "And your promise means what to me?" I snapped back. Jared sighed, and leaned against the wall. "I can give you information at the very least, so maybe you can understand more." He paused, waiting for me to say something, but when I remained silent, he continued. "I am a ghost. I am a living being, but I can walk with the dead. This is how you see none of us, we can hear and see all, without being seen or heard. As with the dragons, we do not know our origins, as with the riders, we do not understand the science." He paused again, looking at my astonished face. "Well, now, I think you are concerned with what you are doing here. So, I will try to elaborate. This begins before the treaty. As you know, the universe was in chaos and many wars. The concoction of the treaty itself was brilliant. It wasn't a piece of paper, a living woman instead. This woman would retain all loyalty and faith in this treaty. However, the riders and the ghosts were cut out. We had no idea of it's creation until after, when we were targeted and killed in hundreds. Now, each of the superpowers have strengths and weaknesses. Dragons are the strongest physically, but extremely volatile and emotional, sometimes out of control due to this. Angels are the fastest, but are prone to depression, making them impossible to work with when so. Gargoyles are the most intelligent, but they tend to shut out emotion, letting logic block their vision way too often, resulting in many mistakes when building relations. Riders can not be found when desired, being able to cover their tracks in all forms, including elemental, yet they are not an organized species, making them a poor ally unless in an emergency. Ghosts are better spies than even angels, yet, we tend to lose ourselves in the unreal world of the dead, making us crazy. These were what decided the original three. The dragons, angels, and gargoyles decided that our weaknesses were not fit to deal with, while theirs were tolerable. They created the treaty, dooming us to a life of running and hiding. My uncle wants to kill you, start us all over, from scratch. Yet, Pierre and I, that is Dr. Laroux, won't allow this. The treaty came with a safety in case things went wrong for them, like what is happening now. They knew that if we received the chance, we would kill you. Therefore, they made it so that we would love you just like they. Yes, Mai, I love you. But at least I can admit it unlike them. Mai, we have you here so that we could maybe, just possibly, get into the treaty. This would end the prosecution of our races. I know this is a lot Mai, but I, I had to tell you." He finished looking at his feet. He quickly vanished out the door, without opening it that is.
  10. His words hit me like a train. He loved me. What if I love him? What if he's lying? What if he does plan to kill me? Oh my... I'm in a whole lot of trouble. I wandered into my new, small closet and found only a warm, black nightgown. I put it on and let my red hair loose. I lied down next to the bed and drifted into a shallow, troubled sleep.
