Hello! Greetings! Salutations! Aloha! Hola! Dia duit! Welcome to part 5 of Supernatural Studies! I answer some of your questions in this part which I'm sure some of you are glad about.

And I know some of you made guesses in the comments about some of the answers to the questions, but MOST of you got them wrong! Heheheheh! A precious few of you were smart enough to get it right, and a few gave me ideas. But that's not the point. Thanks for reading!!

  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. I woke up in an alley that had several hooded figures in it. They had an uncanny resemblance to Ringwraiths, and had skeleton hands. Everything else was covered. They all looked at me and laughed a cold, screechy laugh. "She's awoken." one said. "Hello dear." another said in a mocking tone, "Had a nice sleep?" They laughed again, which I thought was stupid, because that wasn't even a good joke. "Well well," the first one said, "She doesn't know what's going on. Of course, that's to be expected from a Non like herself." Again. People calling me a Non. What the heck is that? "Is she a Non?" a third one asked cautiously, "I'm feeling a severe case of deja vu. What if she does have Skills?" "It doesn't matter if she has Skills or not, she wouldn't be able to escape." The last one said calmly. My head was spinning. Skills? Nons? "Well we were given orders, so let's just kill her." The second one said, pulling out a knife. They all started circling around me and I had the numb feeling again. In all of their hands were knives, that had something engraved on the handles. I couldn't tell what it was though. The circle started closing in on me, and I was going to die if I didn't do something quick. The nearest one took it's knife and put it against my throat. I shivered, the blade was ice cold. I could feel the pressure increasing and I yelped as my blood started to trickle down my collarbone. Then I noticed something very peculiar. My blood wasn't red like it was supposed to be. It was blue.
  2. All the figures stepped back immediately besides the one that was trying to slit my throat. "She does have Skills." one said, seemingly shocked. The one that was cutting me dropped the knife, which fell to the ground with a loud clang, and also stepped back. "Then why didn't she do something?" it asked its companions. "She probably doesn't know." another said. They had a screechy laugh, but then one of them turned serious. "If we took her blood, then the others will be here soon. Momentarily, in fact. And if she isn't a Non, then we won't be able to just slit her throat and be done with it, it will take much longer. Too long." They seemed to have totally forgotten I was there. "Well, we'll be back," they told each other. "See you soon," one said. I heard a loud crack and they all disappeared. What was this? Freakin Harry Potter? And why did I have blue blood. I felt weak in the knees, so I sat down and leaned against the alley wall. Where was I? What time was it? I was getting dizzy and I saw spots. My neck was still bleeding. It wasn't a very deep cut, but I wouldn't be able to fix it myself. How was I going to get back to school? I smiled, my neck was bleeding, I just saw a bunch of what looked like hooded skeletons, apparently I had Skills, I had no idea where I was, and I was thinking about school. I started feeling really tired, but something told me I couldn't fall asleep, or I might die in my sleep, and that wouldn't be good. It was getting kind of hard to breathe. Yeah, I was going to die. It was too bad too. Well, I had a pretty nice life, goodbye world.
  3. I didn't die, which was too bad, because my neck was really hurting now, and I still couldn't breathe. I still wasn't sure where I was, but I think someone moved me, because I was in a hospital bed. Heheheheh, I wonder what the doctor is going to think of blue blood. Just then, Tara and Miranda burst through the door, chattering like there was no tomorrow. I was kind of confused to see them, I mean, where was I? "Oh my goodness!" said Miranda looking very relieved, "When I heard what happened, I got so scared, and I....I.." Miranda burst into tears. Tara, who looked very relieved, said, "We heard that you were hurt and came as soon as possible, Miranda is just crying because she was really worried. It's more of a happy cry." Tara gave me a quick hug, "I'm so glad you're okay." she said. "Umm, thanks. By the way, where am I?" I asked. "The hospital room at Forest Richmond." she replied. "I didn't know Forest Richmond had a 'hospital room'." I said. "Well, _______, there are a lot of things you don't know," said a guy coming into the room, followed by Vincent and a woman in her thirties. "Who are you?" I asked suspiciously. Since I was just almost killed by some hooded figures, I wasn't trusting anyone I didn't already know. "I James, but you can call me Jimmy." he said. I couldn't see what any of the hooded figures faces looked like, but I still took a full scan of Jimmy. He had auburn hair, and bluish greenish eyes. And there was a ring of soft orange around the pupil. "And this is Vincent, my roommate, and the school principal, Ms. Smith."
  4. "Okay, that's all well and good, but why are you here? Where's the doctor?" I said. My neck started itching and I instinctively lifted my hand to scratch, but I barely touched my throat and I winced. "Don't touch your throat," Jimmy said, "Alright, _______, I'm sure you're wondering what's going on right now, and we'll explain, but for right now, just hold still and relax. This may sting a little." Jimmy took his hand brushed it over my neck. I wanted to just smack his hand away because it really hurt, but something told me he was trying to help me. It hurt for about a minute, then the pain was gone. I was really confused. I tried to see my throat, if you've ever done that, you'll know how hard it is, and there was no more blood. No more cut, actually. I looked from Jimmy, to Vincent, to Tara, to Ms. Smith, to Miranda, and finally back to Jimmy. "How--?" I began. "_______, this will probably come as a shock to you, but we aren't normal, and neither are you," Vincent said slowly. "What do you mean?" I asked. "We're.......supernaturals, I suppose you could say," said Ms. Smith, "Forest Richmond, is a school for supernaturals." For some reason, it wasn't that shocking. "You live in Ivory, correct?" Ms. Smith asked. I nodded. "Well-" she was cut off by a phone ringing. "One second, I believe you four will be able to explain?" she said, leaving the room. "Okay," Miranda started, "There are a few things you should know before I launch into a whole speech. Everyone at Forest Richmond has some kind of Skill. The most common being able to control fire, water, or earth. That's how they divided up dorms. Ash and Ember hold people that are mostly good with fire. Ice and Ocean have people that are mostly good with water and forms of it. Such as gel, ice, etc." "Well, what're Ivory and Glass for?" I asked. "Ivory and Glass are the oddballs, the ones that have the least common Skills, such as invisibility, super speed, telekinesis, air control, and pretty much everything in between. There aren't many people that belong in those dorms." said Tara knowingly. I wondered why Ivory always seemed so empty. "I have the Skill of healing, along with others." said Jimmy.
  5. "I understand that this doesn't seem likely," said Miranda, "But we could demonstrate for you. Jimmy just healed your neck." That was true, but it still seemed suspiciously convenient. How could I be sure they weren't pulling trick on me? I was going to have to ask A LOT of questions until I believed. "I have a few questions," I began, "First, what is a Non?" "A Non is like a Muggle, they don't have Skills of any degree or kind." Miranda replied, eager to enlighten me. "How come some people thought I was a Non?" Eve talking to her little cronies on the first day came back to me. "Sowhat if she's in Ivory? That's where all the Nons go." flashed through my mind. "Because you're in Ivory," said Vincent, "That's where the oddballs go. It's also where the Nons go, if they haven't been thoroughly investigated. You see, sometimes, Ms. Smith doesn't do the full check of a student, meaning they may not have Skills. But even if they don't, we may just think we don't know their Skills yet, because they have yet to show them. But we aren't always right, so just in case, we don't bring up Skills, Nons, or anything of that kind around those new students who we're unsure of." Oh. Jimmy raised his eyebrows, "Why, who blabbed this time?" he asked, seemingly very annoyed. "Uhh, Eve." I said. Jimmy frowned and sighed. "Oh relax Shocky, it's okay, you saw her blood, she's a Superior." said Vincent coolly. Superior? "What's a Superior?" I asked. "A Superior is basically what we are, Superiors have supernatural abilities, also known as Skills."
  6. "Well yeah, that's all well and good, but what if she wasn't a Superior?" Jimmy asked. "Look, Jimmy, I know you have a problem with people not always following every single detail of every single rule, but people slip up once in a while, so relax, and be happy she IS a Superior." said Tara, frustrated. Jimmy looked down, "You're right Tara." he said. I wondered if they were boyfriend and girlfriend. "So, if I'm a Superior," I began, "Why don't I have powers?" "That's the point of Forest Richmond, it was specifically made for Superiors, so even if they had a really weak power, for example: being able to hear better than most people, the teachers and courses at Forest Richmond help them strengthen their power until it becomes a full-fledged Skill." Miranda explained. "Oh," I said. At least some things were being cleared up. Ms. Smith walked back in, "Okay, that was the doctor, he wants to see you personally and run a few tests. We might be able to figure out which Skills you have that need to be developed." she said. "He'll probably be here by ten, and it's eight forty-five, so you can sleep for a little while if you like, I'm sure you must be exhausted." I nodded. And laid down, I was exhausted.
  7. I slept a dream free sleep and was woken by Ms. Smith who was shaking me gently. "Dear, Dr. Bennet is here to run some tests." I tried do shake off my sleep, but I was still only hearing half of what everyone was saying. Jimmy, Vincent, Miranda, and Tara were still there. "Hello Miss _______, I heard you had a run in with the Calamities. I just want to take a few notes on your test results and we'll be done for the night." Calamities? As if reading my thoughts Miranda jumped in, "Calamities are those hooded figures that you saw." I furrowed my brow. "How do you know what I saw?" Vincent chuckled, "Well, they all were supposed to be gone by the time we got there, but one of them left their knife there, came back to get it. We interrogated it, and wanted to keep it prisoner, but it got away." Jimmy shook his head, "It's too bad it did, we might have been able to get more information, and maybe it's told the others-" "Shocky, don't worry so much, we got plenty of information, and _______ is fine now, thanks to you." I looked at Jimmy, "Oh yes, thank you for healing me." I said, trying not to sound awkward. That was one of those things I didn't think I'd ever say. Jimmy smiled, showing very nice, bright white teeth. "It's nothing really." he said. "Alright, _______," said Dr. Bennet, "I actually only have one test to do for now, and it might prick a little." He took out a needle which I stared blankly at. I hated needles. Nevertheless, I held out my hand and he pricked my finger with it. "Th-that's not possible, is it?" Dr. Bennet stuttered. What was wrong?
  8. Everyone gathered around and stared at my blood, eyes wide. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Your blood," said Vincent, "It shouldn't look like that." "Why not, it's just blue. You have blue blood too." I replied. "Well yeah, I know, but you haven't had any training on your Skills. The cut around your neck had very light blue blood, and that happens to everyone when they have been severely injured, but Superiors without any development lessons should always have a very light shade of blue for blood. And then once you have had training and stuff, it becomes darker. But you, you haven't had any training or anything, and your bloods a darker shade than mine." Wow. Weird. Extremely weird, actually.
  9. "Well, do you think that's a bad thing?" I asked. "It could mean a few things," said Dr. Bennet, "One you're way more powerful than we thought, or two, you're not who you say you are."
