Secrets and lies (part 1)

This is a story about two best friends, Miya and Miranda. Miya's boyfriend was just killed, but now the girls are keeping deadly secrets. This is only testing the story. Please comment if you like it.

Here are the girls' deadly secrets. Miya did nothing to save him, she just watched with a sense od pride. She fears what Miranda will think of her. But here's what she doesn't know. Miranda's the one who held the knife.

  1. "M-Miya! H-Help me!" His words almost echo, getting everywhere in the alley way. Nothing happens. No call for help, no putting pressure on the wound. Within minutes, he's dead.
  2. Miya's P.O.V. I slide out from under the covers, that dream still fresh in my mind. It was like watching him die all over again. I did nothing to help. I make my way over to my closet, the uniorm with his blood on it in the hamper. I chose my other uniform, and went down stairs.
  3. Once at the table, I sit, almost as if nothing has happened. Nothing's been the same. Not even.... nevermind. I'm not hungry, so I walk out the door, and head to shcool.
  4. Walking down the street, I'm at a loss for words when my best friend Miranda falls in step beside me. We havn't spoken since he was stabbed, and we havn't gone to eachother's houses. For some reason, she was more eager to not speak to me than I was her.
  5. Walking into school was eerie. Everybody stopped talking and stared at me, almost daring to say I killed him. It was enough to make me go to the nurse with a headache, asking if I could go home.
  6. Miranda's P.O.V. Watching Miya go home, everthing went back to normal. I still couldn't tell her my terrible secret, but for some reason, I feel like she knows something.
  7. Maybe it's for the best, I think as I step into my room. After all, it's not like she was there.
  8. At least for now she doesn't have to know my secret...
  9. That I killed him!
