  1. In less than a second, Cam flew us over the mansion and towards the huge mountains that were overpowering the landscape. What I was supposed to do at that very moment stunned me. This seemed to be happening a lot here lately...
  2. ****Back at the Mansion**** Jareth watched Adrian as he paced the floor with impatience. "Why would she even go with him? She had no reason to go with him. She knew if she wanted to stay safe she had to stay here. I sware if Cam even laid a finger on her I am going to chop off his head and feed it to a pack of wolves," he ranted. "Adrian," Jareth said, sitting down. "I already called in all of our friends, family, and even close allies to try to help track her down." Adrian stopped stomping around the library rug and looked at Jareth. "WE should be out there looking for her. We are all that she has anymore Jare. I can't loose her yet," he said, putting his head in his hands. Adrian gave up on talking to Jareth and put his ear buds in and turned on his iPod. It wasn't like Jareth would let any of them leave the house now that Sage was missing.
  3. ****SAGE P.O.V.**** We flew for such a long time, and I was getting so sick of being held like a baby. "We're almost there," Cameron told me, squinting into the horizon of the sun. We had been flying all night, and the sun was coming alive. Two minutes later, Cam lowered us onto this deck that came out of nowhere. It probably didn't help that I wasn't paying attention to where we were going, so I never noticed that we were getting closer and closer to what looked like a condo out in the middle of the woods. It was small, yet spacious. The deck was huge though. Cameron put me down once we had landed and I stared with awe at the amazing detail that had gone into this house. "Thank you for flying Cam Airlines. I hope you enjoyed your flight," Cameron said behind me. I half-heartedly laughed.
  4. "So are you going to explain to me what really happened between you and the crew back home, or are you going to keep with your story?" I asked when we got into the livingroom. The walls were navy blue and there were huge leather chairs big enough to be put in a home-theater everywhere. A flat screen was hanging from the wall, but it looked as if it had been collecting dust for a while. "I already did. I wasn't lying about any of the things that I told you. I sware on my father's grave."
  5. I looked at him. Then I decided that he was partly trustworthy if he is willing to sware on his father's grave. For now. I thought that until a heard something that sounded like a wind chime and then a swoosh of wind blow against my face. I stood back and closed my eyes, hoping that it was another nightmare.
  6. I opened my eyes a few seconds later and there stood this guy with a weird cream colored robe on and his orange hair that came a little past his shoulders was tied back in a ponytail. He was smirking. It didn't exactly look like a friendly smirk either. "So you're the one causing all of the trouble. Well, we're just going to have to take care of that aren't we?"
  7. I backed away from him, praying that I could walk through walls too. It turns out I can't, but I didn't know that a person could be thrown against the wall so hard that it breaks. I looked in Cameron's direction and he had a sledgehammer in his right hand and a balled up fist in the other. He had the look of a pissed off bear that got woken up before winter was over. And I know that this was going to be a blood bath.
  8. "You really shouldn't have come here Venis. You know what I did to you last time you tried to harm her. Or do you not remember the broken neck." Venis got up and out of the wall. He had a calm, but deadly look on his face as well. "Oh I remember perfectly fine. But what I don't get is why you let me live instead of killing me." They weren't circling each other, mainly because Cameron was keeping Venis from coming within ten feet of me. I remembered that I wasn't totally helpless. I concentrated and a fireball formed in midair and speed towards Venis. He ducked and it barely missed him. His eyes looked wildly at me. "I underestimated you. That won't happen again." I think I blinked because directly after he said again, he disappeared in a blur.
  9. Cameron threw down the sledgehammer and turned around to face me. "Are you alright?" he asked, hugging me. It's a good thing that he did start hugging me, because if he didn't I would have hit the ground.
  10. Gotcha yet again! lol thanks for reading yet another part of my story! Rate and comment if you must. Again thank you for all your encouraging comments!
