Never Forgotten Part 3

I'm sorry about the last quiz's cliffhanger, I explained it in the paragraph because I forgot to put it in the questions. And to answer some questions... the Quet thing is indeed something from my imagination. I hope you enjoy this one as well as the previous ones! You left off blacking out for a reason you do not know...

  1. I woke up groaning. My head hurt and oddly so did my heart. I seemed to be in a cave, the walls were rough and grey. I looked down and noticed that I was lying on a beautiful blanket. I turned to see a beautiful sight. A lion the size of Wequest and the color of new snow sat watching me. His eyes green, his had a ring of gold surrounding the green. "Hello _______. Welcome to your home realm." He communicated the same as Wequest, only his voice was regal and soothing. "Who are you?" I asked him.
  2. He stood up and thought a moment. Then he slowly walked with such grace to lie by my side. "My name is Epron. I am the equivalent of a Quet only a lion, I am what is known as a Rutine. I am bonded to you along with Wequest. Unfortunately to explain it all is long and confusing. I will do my best to help you along as I am sure you are overwhelmed." 'He's got that last part right.' "There are multiple realms within the universe. I cannot explain to you how in this time but I can say it is a combination of what you call science and magic. There is a mother realm, Tivanta. We are currently there. Changing realms is extremely strenuous on a brain and heart, which I'm sure you are feeling this pain now. Quets and Rutines are known as spirit animals in your realm. We were commonly found with your natives which is why their beliefs revolved around us. But they thought we were just spirits, not actual living beings. Spirit animals are formally known in Tivanta as Gaurdians. Guardians are the only beings who can change realms, and we can also bring a being with us. We are immortal until the day comes where we are bonded. We bond with any humanoid being who will save Tivanta from some threat. Without Tivanta, all realms will fall into nothingness. The humanoid being we bond to tends to have solely one Guardian, but the ones who are the greatest require two. You are one of the greats. Wequest and I currently are not aware of any major threats yet, but when we were patrolling your realm together we bonded to you. Now that we are bonded to you, we are no longer immortal. We die when you do. But you do have an exceptionally long life as a great so do not fret about that yet. Wequest finalized the bond in exchanging your names. As your second bond it isn't nearly as noticeable. Once your first bond was built your conscious mind needed a break so you could handle the new part of your being. This is why you passed out, Wequest took this as an opportunity to take you here. Any questions?"
  3. "For now I only have one question. Why was Wequest my first bond and not you?" Epron chuckled. "That is solely because he can slip into the shadows easier than I, it's hard to miss a gigantic white lion in your realm!" I nodded, "Well, for now, I merely need to absorb the information, I may have more questions for you later on." "Of course. It wouldn't be realistic for you to comprehend all at the moment." 'Ha! Realistic! That's a word without meaning to me now!'
  4. He rose to his feet, "Follow me, you should see Tivanta." I got up to follow him. Epron lead me through the cave until we reached daylight. The first sign of light blinded me at first, but once I could see again... I was baffled. We stood on a high cliff overlooking a beautiful landscape. The forest was green and tranquil. Flowers bloomed everywhere I looked. The mountains extended way above the clouds, and the water I could see through the trees was blue and sparkled under the sun. Wait... two suns! 'This is surreal.'
  5. I looked at Epron for a moment and noticed his eyes were a magenta color. "Magenta?" I inquired. "It stands for love, I love Tivanta. I was born here, and I've protected it since. The peace here is wonderful. Unlike your world, eating isn't something required to survive, only water. Also, an over all government doesn't exist here. Not a soul craves power here. The only government that exists is within the separate species merely to maintain organization and unity." I nodded, but then a thought occurred to me, "Where is Wequest?" "Oh that's right. Wequest is not here now partially to allow me to create a bond between us, bonds are precious to Guardians. And partially, he's out gathering six others to help us protect you." "Six?" "Yes, the four elemental keepers, and another has bonded with a Guardian. We figure the humanoid being is meant to help you along." "When will I meet them?" "Now actually." At that moment I heard a large howl that had to be Wequest's. Epron lied down, you knew he wanted me to get on him, so I did. His fur felt the same as Wequest's only thicker. I gently took his mane in your hands and he rose. "Do not be alarmed." I hadn't the time to question him when he leaped from the cliff and dug his claws into the mountain side. I gasped and buried my face into his mane, we slid down fast, but I knew Epron had control. We reached the bottom and he loped to the largest tree I've ever seen, at it's roots I spotted Wequest.
  6. When Wequest looked at me his eyes were magenta. I felt flattered and warmed. I think I loved him to, in a friend kind of way. He came to me and I hugged his gigantic neck and he wrapped his paw and head around me in response. He seemed to smile at Epron and Epron did the same. Wequest sat on the opposite side of me as Epron. I watched his eyes turn to amber and Epron's to green. "My dear, welcome, it is a relief to see you in Tivanta. I'd like to introduce you to the six." His voice sounded in my head as six figures emerged from the forest. (Described in the answers.)
  7. After all the introductions finished my two Guardians rose to their feet. "The cave you met me in _____ was only temporary." Epron began. "We plan to treat you in luxury, Wequest and I couldn't stand it any other way. Wequest and the six prepared a place for you as we spoke. I'm as excited to see it as you must be." Excitement rose inside my stomach. The most luxury I ever received was sitting in a nice car being shipped from foster home to foster home. I always dreamed of a nicer life. You saw Faye mount Ulanti. I knew I was to ride too... but I didn't know who.... Wequest noticed my uncomfortableness and chuckled. "Ride Epron, I will show you to your new home." I nodded in relief. I did just as I was told and we launched. The same thrill I felt the first time with Wequest rose in me a second time and I laughed again, smiling in exhilaration. We stopped still in the forest. "We will wait for the others. They are patrolling the area. We do not want a soul to know where you sleep quite yet." Wequest said. "And on another note regarding to earlier, Wequest and I will find no jealousy in sharing you as Guardians. We were raised as close friends, we feel blessed being able to protect the same girl." Wequest nodded in agreement to Epron. This was a relief to me knowing that they are good friends and I will never feel bad doing one thing with one and not the other. The guys all came to us at once but I couldn't see Faye and Ulanti. I got off of Epron and looked around. I jumped when hands suddenly covered my eyes. I could her giggling, it sounded like bells, I could tell it was Faye. "I want you to be surprised when you see it!" Faye's voice was high pitched but lyrical and beautiful. I couldn't help but smile slightly. "Yes mam!" You responded with a slight tone of sarcasm.
  8. I walked forward slowly with a hand on both Epron and Wequest. Faye's hands blocked my view. Slowly I started to feel the spray of water and I started to hear....
  9. Cliffhanger!
