  1. My breathing was heavy and I couldn't feel my legs. I wanted Jack to be running at my side but the last I saw of him was when the light flashed. "I'm sorry; this doesn't mean I don't still like you." Was the last thing he said to me before I bolted off. I didn't know where I was but as long as I was as far away from the light and Jack I would be fine. I turned my head to see only trees. Mahogany's was far behind me so I slowed to a walk. My black dress started to tear, and I could feel my makeup running from my tears. I bet I looked like a mess. I wish I listened to Alex and Felex about Jack. He's nothing but a jerk. He led me right to Lileth. At least I think that was her. No one told me what she wanted with me or what she was but at that moment I knew I was away from her. Jack will never trick me like that again. "This doesn't mean I don't still like you." rang in my head like bells. "˜If he liked me he wouldn't give me up to the one person Felex says I need to avoid.' I thought in my head as I racked my brain for the words to stop. I started to tear up again. "I was stupid. I trusted someone who threw pucker powder all over me. I trusted him with the privilege of going on a date with me. He gave me up." I whispered to myself in sadness yet anger. I fell to the ground and started hitting the hard dirt as hard as I could. My hands started to throb but I didn't stop. I stopped when my hands went numb from the pain. I sat on the cold dirt and rubbed my sore hangs. "Dad!" I grabbed my phone from my jacket pocket and found my phone having no signal. The time stared back at me 11:39pm. Dad said be home before midnight, I'm in trouble. I would walk back to Mahogany's but the risk of Jack and Lileth lie there. As I was thinking of other escape routes a twig snapped.
  2. My head spun to the spot the noise came from. "H-h-hello?" My voice stuttered. Nothing else moved or made a single sound. It felt like the world froze. Just to be safe I watched my phone as the time changed to 11:40pm. Time didn't freeze so either it was a frightened animal or someone who is really good at being stationary. I did a quick look around on my surroundings. I didn't feel safe. As I was going to stand some footsteps came toward me. "Go away!" I swung at some legs and tripped someone. I tried to scoot away to make a clean escape, but then he grabbed my foot. "Let go!" As I was about to swing at the shadow another hand stopped mine. "No!" "Hush! I'm here to get you out of here. It's me Felex." He loosened his grasp and let me free. I stood up to finally see his unforgettable blue eyes. I put my arms around him and gave him a big squeeze. I rested my head lightly on his chest. I never wanted to leave his side. He pulled me in with his arms and rested his head on top of mine. I felt him kiss my head and pull away. I lingered but eventually did pull away. I looked down at my bare feet. I took off my shoes when the heels broke. "I'm sorry I didn't listen to you. I thought I could trust Jack. Maybe I need better judgment." Felex's hand rested on my shoulder making me look at him. He was smiling. "What?" "You didn't know and I shouldn't have told you who you can and can't date. I should have known that wouldn't fly. It's not your fault. And I won't let anyone hurt you." Felex was still smiling. I wanted him to carry me home and stay the night with me. "Thanks, but I need to get home." "Follow me." He grabbed my hand with the hand that was on my shoulder. We headed to a darker but thinner part of the forest. There was a black Mercedes.
  3. I got home at 12:20am. I was hoping dad didn't wait up on me. Felex walked me in and as he was about to leave I grabbed his hand. "You can't leave me alone. Jack knows where I live." Felex looked worried as I opened the door. Dad's head was barely peaking over the couch. I turned to Felex and put my finger to my lips so he would be quite. When I turned back around an angry dad and a revengeful Tami hovered over me. Felex dropped my hand. "Hi dad." I said nervously. "Hi dad? Hi DAD? That's all you're going to say! You're twenty minutes late! And who's this?" "Dad I can explain..." "I'd love to hear this one." I sighed ready to say some truth to my dad. "Jack ditched me after dinner and drove off. Some guy tried to pick me up and started to grab at me so I ran into the forest and my heels broke so I threw them in the trees somewhere. Then When I was walking I couldn't see the branches tearing at my dress. When I checked the time it was almost midnight. So I tried to walk back but I was lost, but Felex found me and drove me home." Dad looked at me skeptically. "How do you know him? Also, how did he find you?" Felex jumped in front of me. "I know Kim from school." Lie. "I like to walk through the forest at night because before my parents died we used to picnic there. I live with my grandparents now." That I wasn't sure if it was a lie or not. "Ok, say goodbye to Felex and go to bed." Luckily tomorrow was Saturday, so I didn't need to wake up early. Dad and Tami went up the stairs and I heard a door slam shut. "Well, I'll see you around." I grabbed Felex's hand. "I said you can't leave me alone. I need to feel safe." Felex looked at me. "Okay but what about my car?" "Buckington will cover for me." I waved him over and he nodded and gave me a wink. He was on my side. "I'll say it was a rental." He walked off and started to his room. I dragged Felex to my room.
  4. "You're really pretty." I giggled at Felex's sweet remark. "Even in the dark?" He chuckled. "Yes even in the dark." I was on Felex's naked chest as he playfully stroked newly brushed hair. Our legs were entangled with each other and my hand rested gently on his 6-pack. One of his arms was around me on my back while his other hand was in my hair. I stole a pair of dad's sweatpants for him and I wore a big shirt and sweat shorts. I couldn't sleep because I felt high off of energy with him. Felex made me feel safe and loved. I wanted him to kiss me as badly as I did Alex when he was in my room. I snuggled closer and Felex held me tight. He sat up a little bit causing me to sit up too. "You okay?" I asked wondering if he didn't want to be here. "Yeah, I just wanted a better shot." "Shot at what?" "This..." I felt his bare chest touch my covered one as he leaned in. I closed my eyes knowing what's coming. He kissed my cheek and went down my neck with kisses. I giggled as he came closer to my lips. He brushed them with his lips and the then pulled me in and our lips pressed together. Every breath was just me taking in his air and him taking in mine. We were connected by a simple yet passionate touch. We pulled away for some air. When we did it felt like a firework losing its fuse. He moved away a strand of hair from my face. I gave him a smile and wanted the kiss to come again. It wasn't stopped by an interrupting father. This one felt amazing and made everything inside of me want more. He pulled me in again and even though it was shorter, it felt just as amazing. "I'm glad you're in my arms and not in one of theirs." I smiled big. It was mean toward Alex Jack and Matt but it was sweet to me. "I'd rather have her in my own." A voice said from my corner of my room.
  5. Alex and Flex stood at the edge of my bed staring each other down. My lights were turned on and I was scared what was going to happen. "I didn't think you were invited to Kim's room." sneered Felex. He was right I never truly invited him. "You know we can't enter if we have bad intentions." Alex hissed back. No one was going to back down anytime soon. They haven't even said three sentences to each other but the feeling was hostile. "Guys, not here, please!" They both looked at me with sympathy then looked at each other with hatred. "Sorry Kim, but your safety is worth a few scrapes and bruises." Felex said with anger. "I won't have a scratch. You on the other hand might need a hospital on speed dial." "Alex!" I said surprised at his words. "Well at least I had the nerve to kiss her and not leave her in the dark." "Felex!" I didn't know how he knew but I didn't care I just wanted this to stop. Alex flashed his fangs at Felex and he didn't even look phased. This is weird, because I even jumped a little and it wasn't even toward me. "Let's not do this! I can't watch you guys kill each other." They looked at me and both sat on opposite sides of me. "Look, we can't handle each other obviously. So you need to decide..." Alex said with a sad look in his eye. "...Alex or me?" Felex finished his sentence for him. "No! I can't decide! That's like choosing between your mom and your dad." They both looked at each other then back at me. I curled up into a ball. "Can't I just be friends with both of you?" Felex looked down at my carpet and Alex looked at the ceiling. "Well?" "We'll give you time to pick who you like more than a friend..." Alex started. "...and we can handle being friends for a little while." I smiled. "So, no fight?" "No fight." They said together. Felex stood up. "I better go. You guys have fun..." He paused. "But not too much fun." He left the room after grabbing his keys and his shirt. I was alone with Alex.
  6. I looked at him and Alex was looking at his shoes. "I'm not mad anymore." Alex looked up from his shoes but he eyes weren't even close to meeting mine. "Good, you know I never left. Just didn't know if you still wanted to see me." I moved closer to him. "I called your name, didn't I?" He finally looked at me with sadness filling his eyes. "I'm sorry; if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have almost been with Lileth tonight." I kissed him on the cheek trying to be sweet. He pulled me onto his lap. "Also, Felex wouldn't have had the pleasure of kissing you before me." He started to stroke my face while brushing hair away from my face. I grabbed his hand and held it gently. Alex kissed my forehead and let his lips linger as he pulled away. I closed my eyes waiting for his lips to connect with mine. But nothing happened. I opened them again looking at Alex's sweet face. He touched my face and smiled with his fangs. "Is something wrong?" I asked confused. "You smell... amazing." I giggled. "No I mean tempting... I don't just want to kiss you I want to.... Bite you..." I smiled sweetly and held out my wrist. Alex looked at me. "You don't understand! If I bite you, you will turn..." I looked down at my wrist wondering is it worth it. "Also, if we are on sacred ground we're bonded for eternity." I didn't know if it was worth it. I pulled my wrist away. Alex looked to the side feeling bad for making me question being his forever. I reached out and touched his chest. He looked down at my hand then at my eyes. He looked deep into me and made me shiver with excitement. I felt so alive when he gave me that deep longing look. I leaned into him and pressed my forehead against his. He sighed and his breathe mingled with mine. Our bodies were like puzzle pieces fitting perfectly together, except one edge didn't come together. My lips tingled for his to connect with mine. Alex's eyes closed and he brushed his lips on my cheek. I giggled and my hair moved into his face. He brushed it away gently and started kissing my face. He kissed everywhere on my face but my lips. Alex backed away and smiled, as I was squirming for what I've been waiting for. He pulled me in and finally finished the puzzle. I was hypnotized by his full soft lips and the sweet nectar of his presence. He held me in his arms as we kissed. I could feel his arms stroking my hair.
  7. The next morning I was on Alex's, chest his arm around me on my back. I snuggled closer to him and listened to his breathing. "Kim!" Dad was calling me from downstairs. I shot up not wanting him to come and see Alex. When I opened my door dad was right there, and trying to look in. I closed the door behind me and leaned against it just as a precaution. "Umm... Jack's here..." I felt my face get hot and anger fill inside of me just like a thermometer on a hot day. "Thanks." I said sternly. I didn't mean to express my anger with dad but I couldn't help it. I stomped downstairs ready to pop. When I got to the bottom someone grabbed my waist spun me around and held me in a dip. A handsome Jack in a suit and a bouquet of colorful flowers was holding me. I almost forgot what he did wrong... Almost... I pushed him away and he staggered to not fall. "You... You led me into the hands of Lileth! I could have died in her hands! You didn't care! You just didn't want to betray her!" Jack looked hurt then looked down. "I'm sorry but the chick has got a tight grip on her blood members. If I could leave I would have when I met you..." I calmed down a little. "Blood members?" He nodded his head still looking down. "We all prick our finger and let our blood drip into a blood filled cauldron. Once your blood falls in you're one of her many minions. That's also how I became a fire bender." "What if you want out?" "Then she drowns you in the blood of the others." I thought and a picture came into mind and I gagged a little bit. "See? Also, if we betray her she will torture us for all to see." Jack was kicking at the floor I felt bad for him. I wrapped my arms around him in a hug and laid my head on his chest. I was trying to show I understood but I didn't. I pulled away before he thought it was because I like him. Jack gave me a longing look that hurt. I could see in his eyes he wants to kiss me but I had a sleeping Alex upstairs and Felex competing with him for me. Jack saw that he wasn't the only guy who wanted me in his life, but he didn't care. He wanted me and that's all I saw in his eyes. "I think you should leave." "Kim... I can give you everything they can't! All Lileth wants is you as one of us! She means no harm it doesn't even hurt and then you could get a power like me! We'll live happily together! Lileth has so many minions we can just sit around and be with each other!" Tami came downstairs smiling and humming. Then she saw me. "Who are you talking to?" She came down the stairs enough so she could see Jack. She almost tripped back up as she tried to get out of sight. Jack tried to see the intruder of our conversation but Tami was gone.
  8. I finally pushed Jack out as he kept asking "Who was that? Why does she sound familiar? What's her name?" I didn't answer any of his questions; my goal was to get him out! Once the door was shut and Jack gave up on his questions I ran upstairs to Alex. I got to the entrance of my room and my door was open a crack. I froze scared to see what lies behind the door. I pushed it gently open and let my eyes adjust to the darkness. When they did I saw a still sleeping Alex with a figure hovering over him. "Get away from him!" I screamed as I charged toward the shadow. The shadow faced me and surprised by my entrance fell as soon as I tackled it. I heard a stirring on the bed. "Kim?" Alex's groggy voice asked confused. I was on the shadow but it was strong. It pushed me off and threw me across the room. I hit the wall and everything went black.
  9. Sorry guys I didn't finish sooner. School and writers block didn't really help. I am already starting on part 4 so it shouldn't take long! I hope you don't hate me! If you don't I still love you guys
