  1. This is going to be a short story like thing I'm working on. Don't expect it to be very great for its my first.
  2. Rex walked through the gates into the palace of the great king Trevor who was still rather young though Trevor was very wise for his age. Rex was the top knight in the kingdom. He had worked hard to get to where he was and has been given the task as the princess's royal escort to their sister kingdom of Reye.
  3. Rex arrived at the spot to pick up the princess to go to Read. She climbed in and they took off for reye nearby.
  4. Rex came to a halt at a narrow bridge "cannot. Tis too narrow to pass by horse and carriage. Princess, what say you?" Princess stood out, her name is Amalia, " well, why not lose the carriage and go by horse?" "Smart thinking princess. Shall be faster and easier that way. Climb on." The princess got onto the gorse and they crossed the bridge carefully AF a slow pace.
  5. They traveled down a narrow road towards a forest nearby. "Careful" rex said. They entered the trees to a silence surrounding"tis too quiet" said Amalia. "True, too quiet." Rex said. A reflection of light caught his attention "what goes there!" Rex said towards the reflection. Glowing white eyes shown "evil" it said in a sinister tone as it came out. It was black covered in hair with sharp claws."call me Vain if you wish." It responded.
  6. Rex climbed down to the ground "evil Vain. EV is you?" "Yes" it responded. Rex held out his sword"surrender or leave." Rex said. "I shall do none." Vain said. "Then suffer!" Rex said swinging heavily at Vain. "Agile are you?" Vain said rushing at Rex. Rex swung again only to be blocked by vains tough claws. "Cannot. You're tough." Rex said "bit a true knight never surrenders!" Rex ran at vain at struck him with his sword.
  7. Vain fell wounded to the ground after the fight as Rex looked down to him" you fought well vain. Too bad this was the end for you."Rex slowly walked back to the horse and got on. They rode off towards Reye as Rex thought about vain "wonder why he attacked us?" He said as they came out the forest. In the distance Reye could be seen with its mighty walls up high. "Were nearly there " Rex said to Amalia.
  8. Rex rode through the gates of Reye with Amalia to see lord Bishop standing there. "Hello bishop." " Rex." Bishop said with a growl in his voice."good to see you made it" "We had some trouble from an unknown assailant" Rex said as he got off with Amalia. Bishop looked to Rex " assailant" bishop thought" damn. " he walked hack in with Amalia. Rexwaited with his black horse outside.
  9. This is my first attempt. I'll try for my next to be better.
