Life of a Freak Part 1

Based off of the books of Maximum Ride I created my own version. You will see what it's like to be a freak trapped in hell. You will really feel for Sammy aka you.

  1. This isn't a story you get to fall in love with some boys. This is a story of my life in your point of view. It starts from the beging to the end. Take that as anyway you want. Sit back and read and if your sensitvive grab some tissues.
  2. Imagine; your 4 years old and having a birthday party with your closest family. You have long blonde hair and deep blue eyes, and you have a summer dress that was flowery and pink with violet. Laughs fill the room. You are wearing a polka dot birtday hat that had every color of the rainbow in the stripped background and the dots are white. As you are about to blow out four measly candles on your Scobby Doo cake that said Happy Birthday Sammy, the door breaks down. The rush of wind from the door blew out the candles. You scream and hide behind your mom and dad. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" Your dad asked obviously pissed. His spiked black hair looked eyen spikeier and his deep blue eyes filled with anger. Mom looked scarerd. Her dirty blonde hair was sticking to her face dued to sweat and her blue eyes filled with fear. The men that broke the door wore black suits and sunglasses. One walked up to my dad and pulled out something and you saw dad spaz out then fall to the ground. Mom was punched out as you screamed. Blood ozzed out of her nose. "Mommy! Daddy!" You kept screaming but no use. the rest of your family just watched.
  3. You got dragged to a car that went to a parking lot in front of an airport. "You talk your family dies." You believed them. They walked you through the airport with countless people looking at you strangley. You look at your feet which are bare. Hours later your off one plane then onto another. Same strange looks. After this plane ride was over you are loaded into a huge black van. They had no license plates and you started tearing up, knowing that's not right. "You were a good girl." One handed you some cake and a milk. You ate slowly and felt like screaming. You didn't like being in this car. Soon you were unloaded and saw it was the middle of no where. Trees surrounded most of the place. They dragged you inside of a building bigger then half of your neighborhood, but it's only one story. They picked you up and you screamed and fought to escape. A girl in a white coat and nurse slippers took you into another room. She took off your dress and tied a hospital robe on you then slipped on some white booties. "Your a very beautiful specimen." She said as she brushed your hair. "Thank you?" You didn't know what a spice man was but you don't think it was good. She lead you to a room with a single steal flat bed and a small table. "Go lay down and the doctor will be here soon." She smiled at you. The door shut and you screamed and scrpped at the door. "Let me out! I'm not a spice man!" You banged on the door and kept screaming.
  4. Someone started pushing on the door. You stepped back whiped your tears and tried to run out. "Woah, woah, woah!" he said grbbing your arm. "You need to stay. We can't change your DNA without you." DNA? What's that supose to mean? Several people in scrubs ran in and strapped you down on the freezing steal table. You screamed bloody murder and kept sqirming trying to get out. "Stop moving I might miss." Needle after needle you felt faint. Then it went black...
  5. 10 years later you still are in this hell hole of a place. You decided to call this place 'Death'. Because besides you that's all that happens here. Now it's your fouteenth birthday and you weren't a normal person. You had a tail and ears of a fox. They matched your hair but with brown tips. Your new out fit was white PJ's that were 2 sizes to big. They kept you in a room by yourself one bed with a sheet and a single blanket, a bathroom, and a tray for food. The room was padded for those who went crazy. And there was a lot of people who did. The slot on the locked door opened for breakfast. An apple some oatmeal and toast. Not bad. Usually it's only an apple but you guess it's because of your birthday. A card sat under the bowl. You pulled it out and it said 'Happy Birthday Sammy'. "Nice." You rolled your eyes. You hated how they tried to win the kids hearts with cheap things. You ate and took a shower and waited for time to pass for outdoor time.
  6. The doors open at 10am when breakfast was at 6:30am. Right now it's 9:59am and I sat by the door waiting for it to open automatically. 3, 2, 1, the door slid open and you literally ran out to the yard. You felt grass on your bare feet, the sunlight kisses your face, and fresh air fills your lungs. You take a deep breath and embrace the time you had outside. The other kids or should I say mutants filed outside. You had no friends among them but you had enemies. "Hey foxxssy!" screamed from behind you as you as you tried to go to your favorite tree. You turned to see a failed experiment in your eyes. His name was Dex and he was a raptor. That's what you called the lizard people. They have patches of scales and forked tongues and snake looking eyes. His hair was brown and his eyes yellow and he had the same PJ's. "You going ssssome where?" He was a creep that liked to pick on those more successful then raptors. "What do you want Dex?" You asked annoyed. "You outta here." He hissed. "Look I want out of here too but..." Your face was turned away from him and you were holding your cheek. He punched you in the face. "Really?!" You screamed as he laughed in your face and the other mutants turned around. You swung and hit his jawline.
  7. He staggered backward. All mutants were stronger than humans especially raptors. So it shows how hard you hit when he staggers. "You..." His eyes turned red with fury. He tackled you to the floor. You thrashed and kicked and punched to get him off. He felt like 1,000 pounds. "Get! Off!" You chocked out. Some more raptors surrounded you and started cheering for Dex. He laughed and got in your face to say "I think you're out matched." He laughed harder and harder. Then you heard the raptors hissing and screeching. Dex had a look of surprise on his face. He got pulled off of you and you hear him chocking out. Then a hand reached for you and started helping you up. "You ok?" Asked this cute brown haired boy. "Ya I'm fine." He had green eyes with yellow spikes coming from his pupil. He was half fox just like you but his ears and tail were brown. (I said you wouldn't fall in love with some boys this is one boy. Also, the only boy you have a chance with.) "They're just jerks. Name is Mason." "Sammy." He smiled at you and you couldn't help but smile back.
  8. At 11:30am everyone was lead to their rooms but Mason was lead a different way. I tried to look where he was going but a nurse pushed me the other way and into a mistake. Poor kid. He looked about 5 and had three eyes and patchy green hair. Mushrooms were growing off of him. *Uk* "Sorry." "Fin" He sounded like he wanted to say fine but it came out as fin. Poor, poor kid. You went to your room and grabbed the camra that your supose to say your complaints to. Did I forget to metion that? You turned on the camera pointed it toward you and said "What the heck! Why didn't I know that there was someone like me? I'm supose to know these things right? I didn't have to be a..." The door slid open. "The master would like to see you." Said a nurse from the door. "...lone." You turned and shut down your camera and walked to the door. "Can I ask why?" You asked still mad you didn't know about Mason. "He didn't say just come with me." You rolled your eyes and walked yourself to the office. "Morning Sammy." Said the reaper of death himself turned away in his master chair. That's what I call him. Everyone else calls him master. "Morning. Now what's the problem?" He turned around and looked at you. He had white hair and baggy brown eyes. He looks like someone you'd call grandpa. "This is about Mason." You smiled and slammed your fist on his desk. "Why didn't I know?" You screamed. "Because we grabbed him a year before you. We weren't ready for the raptors to know about him. He was succsesful so we got you and made another one of him. We wanted to wait until the right time to expose him to the others." You froze in your spot fist still on his desk.
  9. "So how did you hide him?" You asked confused. "We kept him in his own section." Ok so they had a section no one knew about? "Nurse! Take Sammy to Mason's room so they know each other better." "Really!" The nurse grabbed your arm. "You think you can just show off this new kid and expect us to be best friends!" "Goodbye Sammy." You kept pulling on the nurse and she almost lost you but she grabbed you and took you to a new part of Death. She kept dragging you until you reached a door. She scanned her ID and the door slid open. "Hey" said Mason as he smiled at you.
  10. The door slid closed and you felt a couple of hairs come off your tail. "Hey! Watch it!" Mason just laughed. "So what's up?" "This." He handed you a rolled up piece of paper. You unrolled it to see a map of the building. "Why?" "It's an escape plan." You looked confused. "Look I know you want out of here as much as I do. But I need help. You got the easy part." Aww he cares. "Ok fine." He smiled. "See ya tonight a midnight." You got kicked out by the nurse and pulled into your room. You ate lunch then dinner then waited. Looking at the plan you got distracted and lost track of time. Then your door opened. You ran out and saw Mason. "Hey, you ready?" "Yep." You both ran down the hall. "Ok this is where we split. You keep on going straight." He headed toward raptor territory. You ran straight and saw the door you need to go through. 'Swipe ID card' blinked back at you. "Crap." You heard two nurses chatting in the nurses lounge. "Ugh I had to deal with the fox brat today." You rolled your eyes then craweled toward one of them. "You really need to teach her a lesson." You started pulling on it. "Ya and get fired?" Almost. "Sure. But everyone would love you." Got it. You crawled away and slid the card. The door opened and you ran across the yard before you got caught. You slipped to the wall and with your body close to the wall you scotted along. You got to the corner closest to the forest. You waited and ran for the forest. BUZZZ BUZZ the alarms went off and you bolted faster away. You heard barking and yelling "Get back here!" You kept running but tripped. They got closer and closer. "I'm doomed!"...
