In all fairness Russian is only my ethnicity (my main ethnicity) and not my nationality but these questions and answers were a bit outdated and stereotypical/ignorant.

"23%, Russian" my ass. I'm mostly Irish and Russian. All of this is just stereotypical bs that Americans made up. Whenever I'm talking to people on the phone that only speak Russian and I have to speak Russian my brother always come in my room and say some stereotypical s---. "Vodka, vodka, vodka. Babushka, babushka, babushka. Soviet Russian. Commies, etc etc.". I can't even go out of the house and speak Russian without my brother or my Dad mocking me. These stereotypes literally make s--- irritating. I wish my family wasn't so American. It's gross. I need to move. And wtf is with the washing laundry in the bathtub bs. no one does that

Larken, I understand how you feel about all of this and I would be offended if someone else offended ones culture- but I found what you said about Americans offensive because I am part American, but honestly I would agree upon how you feel about them because people should be respected no matter what culture they are. And I am also part Russian as well while my family doesnt understand me either because none of them got that heritage while I was the only one passed on with a special gene from a long line of ancestry, yet a lot of my family were Germans giving me a strong bloodline of German but in conclusion, people like you deserve to be treated fairly, and not just treated like they just an item. Anyone like you or others from different cultures should have a right to speak up. So I appreciate your concern for the stereotypes that are put on Russians. -Love for Russia and all Russians

I am a little over 30, some of the stereotypes used in this test are much older than me and absolutely irrelevant. I am 100% Russian. I love Russia and its people. Yet, many Russians criticize things in Russia and look for a change... Many of us are far from those old stereotypes some of which have never even existed and are the plain product of ill imagination and shortsighted perception... One more thing I cannot keep silent about... the question about "laundry in the bathtub"... gosh, the first time I had to do such laundry was in the U.S.!! I have been a student, lived in different states, renting apartments... I live in Russia and in the Netherlands, but only in the U.S., I have not had the "privilege" to have my own washing machine. This is absolutely insane for me. Every apartment in Russia has a washing machine. No matter it is your's or you rent it... it does not cost that much. Yet, in the U.S. it is truly a privilege for which your landlord will add a hundred dollar extra to your monthly rent... I have recently watched a video about portable washing machines where they were talking about having a washing machine as a privilege of those who own their homes. Seriously?! It cost little money to install a washing machine in the bathroom or kitchen, yet in the U.S. it is a privilege and many have to use public laundromats as a reminder of them not being successful enough... This is absolutely ridiculous and wild for me. Since public machines are unacceptable for me, a bathtub is the only option... We (Russians) care about hygiene and cannot understand how something like a washing machine can be public in our modern world in a developed country!!!!
