Hogwarts Part 21

Will you get the Hogwarts guy of your dreams? Find out in this quiz. Starting in your third year, you will get the opportunity to become friends and more with Neville Longbottom, Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Oliver Wood.

*Recap* Last time, you arrived at Hogwarts and settled into your classes again. Eventually, you arranged a Quidditch match with your Gryffindor friends after tiring of homework. You managed to snag the Snitch while playing against Harry, but only because he was distracted by Oliver.

  1. I had to restrain myself from flying away in frustration. It wasn't that I didn't like Oliver, but he needed to pick a location and stick with it. Following me everywhere wasn't doing anyone any good. Groaning inwardly, I tilted my broom toward the ground, my feet touching grass a moment later. I wasn't exactly expecting Oliver's reaction. "That was bloody brilliant!" he exploded, putting his arm around my shoulders as if in congratulations. "And you did that on an old Silver Arrow! Imagine what you could do on a Firebolt..." he said, gazing toward the goals dreamily. I noticed his change in mood since I had last seen him. He was always at his best when he was involved with Quidditch.
  2. "Er...thanks. Is there a specific reason you're here?" I asked bluntly, disengaging myself from his grip to face him. He snapped out of his fervor and gave me a sheepish look. "Ah...right. Well, the Order sent me here," he said secretively. "Because?" I asked, raising an inquisitive eyebrow. He looked somewhat embarrassed. "I may have...suggested something," he said, avoiding my eyes. I couldn't help but be slightly annoyed. "And because they needed someone to watch the students. I'll be Madam Hooch's assistant while I'm here," he added quickly. I rolled my eyes, but let the matter rest. "Do whatever you want, but when Ron murders you in your bed, it'll be your fault," I said, unable to keep my lips from twitching up a fraction. He grinned, content with the fact that I wasn't going to hold anything against him.
  3. The rest of our group had reached the ground by then. Oliver shuffled off uncomfortably as I moved to join them. Neville was still clutching his broom in a death grip, pale-faced and unsteady. I stifled a giggle as I approached. "All right there, Neville?" I asked, attempting and failing to be sympathetic. "I'm never getting on a broom again," he said ruefully, giving the stick of wood a reproachful look. Hermione agreed whole-heartedly. "I think we deserve a rematch," Harry said with a grin. "Okay. But only if I get the Firebolt," I said teasingly, pretending to reach for it. He smiled. "I don't think I want to go against you on a Firebolt," he said. "I'm not that great," I said earnestly, knowing Harry was probably the best Seeker to come along in quite a while. With or without the Firebolt, he probably could've beaten me if Oliver hadn't come along. "I don't know, I think you should try out for Seeker. Chang's had her chance," Ron said encouragingly. "I'll think about it," I said uncertainly, and that seemed to end the discussion.
  4. That weekend was the last bit of fun I had for the next few weeks. Professor Umbridge was made High Inquisitor, only confirming my beliefs that the Ministry was attempting to infiltrate Hogwarts. Her hold on things happening in the castle only tightened, and that eventually led to an unlikely visit from Hermione. I was bent over yet another essay when I felt a sharp tap on my shoulder. I jumped and turned around irritably, a blot of black ink running down the middle of my parchment. "What was that – oh, hello, Hermione. Ron. Wait, how did you even get in here?" I asked, looking around the common room for some sort of clue. "Hermione answered the door knocker question," Ron said, gazing around the room curiously. "Okay, then...what are you doing here?" I asked in confusion. Usually I was the one invading their common room. Hermione was positively beaming with excitement. "Hermione's got an idea," Ron said.
  5. I looked at Hermione expectantly. "Professor Umbridge isn't teaching us how to use spells," she whispered excitedly. "And that's good?" I asked, still confused. "Harry can teach us!" she finished. "Harry?" I asked in disbelief. "That's what I said," Ron said with a snicker. "Shut up, Ron," Hermione said irritably before continuing. "Yes, Harry! He's faced more dangerous situations than all of us combined. Who could be better to teach us how to defend ourselves?" she continued eagerly. "I guess so, but did he actually agree to this?" I asked doubtfully. Her face fell slightly. "Well, no, but that's what we need your help with," she said with a pleading look. "You two are his best friends. What could I possibly do?" I replied, and she gave me a mischievous smile. "You're so clueless, Cassandra. Can't you see he likes you?" she asked exasperatedly.
  6. Ron's ears went red and he coughed uncomfortably. "Oh, like you don't, too," she said to Ron. We both went red that time. I liked Hermione, but sometimes she was a little too forward. "Er, well, I should probably get back," Ron said abruptly, making a quick exit out the door again. "Hermione!" I exclaimed, shooting her an irritated glance. She gave me a small smile. "I'll tell you when we're talking to Harry. I've got to go finish an essay," she said, and disappeared through the door as well. "And I have got to stop hanging around Gryffindors," I said under my breath, but couldn't help but be a little pleased by Hermione's words.
  7. Just a few days later, I found myself in the common room with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Harry still looked incredibly uncertain. "We'll all be there to help you, Harry," I said, doing my best to be encouraging. "I've already talked to a few people and they're all interested in joining," Hermione added. "I'm not a teacher," Harry said flatly. "But you can be one," I replied, mustering all of the persuasion I had in that one statement. A long silence followed, until Harry slowly nodded. "All right," he agreed at last.
  8. In the time leading up to the first Hogsmeade visit of the year, we managed to round up quite a few Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, and Ravenclaws that were interested in attending the meeting at the Hog's Head. I was rather nervous about being caught in the process, though we weren't technically doing anything wrong. Nevertheless, we kept the meeting fairly quiet. I made my way to the Hog's Head with Padma, Parvati, and Lavender, looking around at passing students nervously as if they knew exactly what we were doing. Despite my fears, we made it to the Hog's Head without incident.
  9. The number of students that piled into the dingy pub seemed to shock Harry, but the meeting went rather well after a somewhat rocky start. By the time we dispersed from the group, we had formed Dumbledore's Army and had all signed a piece of parchment in order to ensure secrecy. I walked out in rather high spirits – and immediately ran into Draco. For once, I wasn't greeted with the usual smirk. "What were you doing in the Hog's Head?" he asked suspiciously, narrowing his eyes as the rest of the students flooded out of the small pub. It wasn't usually a place Hogwarts students went. "Um...what were you doing BY the Hog's Head?" was my brilliantly stupid response. I attempted an angelic smile. He continued to look suspicious, but a smirk played across his lips after a moment. I shifted uncomfortably under his scrutiny, and then spotted some familiar Gryffindors in the crowd. "Oh, look, there's Harry!" I said suddenly, trying to make a quick escape. He caught my arm as I passed. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone you were here," he said quietly, and then let me continue on my way without another word.
  10. "That little git!" I said through gritted teeth, glaring at the new notice in the common room as if hoping it would catch fire. Not long after the meeting at Hog's Head, Professor Umbridge put out the announcement that all groups and clubs had to be approved by her. I had no doubt that someone had told her about the meeting in Hogsmeade, and that someone had to be Draco. It looked like Dumbledore's Army was going to be short-lived.
  11. *music826* I hope you enjoyed this edition! I'll try to stop being so lazy with the options and the results in the future. I've just had so much homework lately. Feel free to leave comments and suggestions, and I'll see you next time! :)
