"You're way too kind." Lavender beamed, leaning into her touch. "Theres hardly anything special about me, and the only person who says otherwise is you."

Maeve smiled, cupping her face. ‘Well, somebody had to say it. Just because nobody says that you have a nose, it’s still there, isn’t it?’

“Just because I say your hair is orange doesn’t mean it is.” Lavender countered. “Besides, you’re biased. You supposed to tell me what I want to hear.”

‘I’m telling you the truth, I swear it! And personality is objective anyway, just because one person thinks you’re not absolutely awesome, doesn’t mean you’re not! I’m telling you what I think about you!’

Lavender giggled at how insistent she was. “Fine, you think I’m amazing.” She admitted. “But I think you’re delusional.”

‘Well, I think your self confidence is too low for you to have a valid opinion,’ Maeve said, kissing her nose.

“That’s not true!” Lavender protested, blushing. “My self esteem is perfectly normal!” Okay, so she was lying, but she didn’t realize it at the time.

‘Incorrect! It’s definitely not normal. But that’s okay, I’ll help you make it normal,’ Maeve said, pecking her lips and snuggling close.

Lavender blushed bright red, holding her tight. What did she do to deserve someone like her?
