‘What about Maeve? Does she think that?’
-
“I don’t know, we don’t really talk about lesbians often.”

‘I see. Hm. Thank you for your time.’ The journalist left. Maeve peeked out from Lavender’s shoulder.
-
Lavender sighed, turning to Maeve. “I failed that interview, didn’t i?”

Lavender buried her head in Maeve’s shirt. A thought popped into her mine, but she tried to ignore it. She didn’t want to mess up and make Maeve upset by saying it.

Maeve laid down next to her. She put her head in Lavender’s lap and looked up at her, giving a smile. ‘Yeah?’ -
Lavender looked at her. Her smile made her feel worse about the whole ordeal. “I-never mind.” She asked quietly.
