Lavender huffed.

Maeve giggled.

Lavender leaned into her.

Maeve booped her nose and pulled her close.

Lavender snuggled into her. She heard a camera flash, and looked up at Maeve immediately.

Maeve frowned. She glanced to the source of the noise.

Lavender looked at the source as well. It was a reporter with a camera. Lavender looked up at Maeve. "Do you want me to pull away? So they don't think... yknow."

‘s---,’ Maeve muttered. She pulled away a little. ‘Yes please,’ she said quietly, watching the reporter.

Lavender nodded, pulling away quickly. Her gaze shifted from Maeve to the reporter back to Maeve, trying to gauge what was going to happen.

'C'mon, lets go back to the bakery,' Maeve said, standing up. She usually would've grabbed her hand. But didn't.

Lavender nodded, standing up too.
"Wait! Why were you two so snuggled up to each other?" The reporter called out. -
'f--- yourself!' Maeve shouted back, grabbing Lavender's wrist and speed walking away.
