Dalia opened the door. “What’s the emergency?” She asked immediately. She was one of the housekeeping staff, and looked like she was just barely about to start her shift, with her hair messily tied up, and an all black outfit.

'We need Ashblood. Preferably in the near future,' Oliver said quickly.

Dalia thought for a moment. “I don’t have any on hand, but there’s a shop called Healing Herbs that should have it.”
Jayden nodded. “I know where that is.” He said to Oliver. -
'Oh, thank god. Can we go? Now?' Oliver said immediately.

“Yes.” Jayden nodded. “Thank you Dalia.”
“What’s it for-“ by the time she asked, Jayden was already dragging Oliver out of the castle. -
Oliver let him, speedwalking.

Jayden took him outside and around the many shops and tourist attractions in the center of the town.

Oliver followed, looking around. -
(My dad is letting me go on my old iPod at different times in the day, and I know where he hid it when my parents are away. I just don’t want to ask him every single day because then that makes it seem like I’m an addict to these stories which I’m t o t a l l y not
They don’t tell me when I’m ungrounded lol. Basically I’m just off of the iPad and computer for a while, but I got my phone back yesterday so idk when I’m getting ungrounded)
Jayden got to the shop. “There, Healing Herbs.” He opened the door for Oliver. -

Oliver walked inside, looking around. The walls were lined with herbs, and a counter was pushed to the back with more rows behind it. -

Jayden started searching for anything named Ashblood. -
(Ok lol)
Oliver walked to the counter. There was a man cleaning the shelves.
‘Good morning, how are you, do you have any Ashblood?’ Oliver spoke quickly.
The man looked at him over the top of his glasses, which were perched precariously on the end of his nose. ‘Ashblood? Oh, I just ran out of it,’ he said. ‘Stock will probably be back in about a week-‘
‘I can’t wait a week! Are you sure you don’t have any now?’
The man arched an eyebrow. ‘What do you need it for? Perhaps you can find it in another city.’
‘My friend is going to die, can you please just check your stock?’ Oliver said desperately. The man sighed tiredly and set the jar he was holding down, then walked into the door than led to the back room, leaving Jayden and Oliver alone. -
Jayden looked terrified. “He’s going to die?! How much of it did her have?”
