Jocelynn walked outside a couple of hours later. She checked the sundial beside the bridge. It was almost at the mid point. Lynn jumped onto a roof, (as expected of her), and started towards the royal barnyard.
"So, any good hearted advice you want to give before I go out? Isn't that the thing you paladins do, give out advice?" Richard asked, finishing up the buttons on his sleeves.
"Unless you're partial to my suggestion of turning yourself in or letting me out, no."
Chuckling, Richard turned away. "Ah, but where's the fun in that? Nowhere. Besides, it's not like you couldn't get yourself out, you're just not trying hard enough."
Pulling his boots up and stepping away from the mirror, Richard smiled again. "Well, I'm off then. Good luck and all that." He said, waving behind himself as he headed towards the door.
Angel Fox NoviceAs soon as he "recharged", Russ headed to the royal barn. There they would ask for a horse from his uncle and begin the biggest scandal in history.
Jocelynn sat on the roof of the barn. She made sure that she had her spear. Lynn jumped behind the barn and slipped through a gap in the wall.
She walked casually through the barn. The animals were sleeping. Even if they did wake up, Lynn had a feeling that they wouldn't draw attention to her.
She opened the barn door a crack. She peeked through the door and saw no one. So she sat outside beside the door. She pulled her spear off her back and drew lazy shapes on the ground using the sharp tip. All she had to do now was wait.
With a creak, the door to the barns opened slowly, and Richard entered. In his left hand was a large shovel, which he leaned on as he watched Lynn create DA ARTS.
"You know, one would think that marking our presence here would be a bad idea," Richard said.
"And on top of that, a spear? Why on earth would you bring a spear? How are you going to talk your way out of having a spear if we get caught? Hell, how are you going to hide a spear at all? I honestly can't think of a least subtle weapon than a spear. And I once saw a half-pigman werewolf 'assassinate' a man with a club."
Jocelynn stopped drawing on the ground and pointed the spear at Richard. "I have my ways." Was all she said. She stood up and strapped the spear to her back under her cloak. "And now we wait for Russ."
