I do not think I can truthfully answer this question. I do remember my mum telling me that when my grandmum died she took a last gasp, and suddenly stopped breathing all together. Her face was drained of color, and she said it felt like something just whizzed past her. So, I suppose death might feel like being teleported out of your body and into another world.

i always just thought you stay underground in the coffin really bored forever until your soul gets bored and wreaks havoc.

i've never been dead, but i've been close.
i was swimming in a lake with my family when my leg got caught on an underwater branch. it hurt my ankle and i wasnt able to swim anymore. i sank slowly, trying to keep my head above water as long as i could. i slowly slid under. everything was slowmotion. i couldnt think clearly. i knew i wass dying but it didnt matter. my mind was off on some out of the way subject. i slid down under the water. everythng was cold, and a heavy pressure set in on my lungs. i had inhaled water. things began to get blurry and my eyes began to get heavy. then everything went black. i could hear blurred and muffled sounds but i was almost like sleeping. i woke up in the back of a car, my cousin was trying his best to get me to cough. i coughed water. alot of water. i was dizzy and weak for the next couple days but i was alive...
