Aubri's eyes sparkled, another tear dripping down her delicate cheek. "I have nothing else to be happy about.. My sister is everything I have, really..."

"Then you can be happy for her right now. I'm sure something else will find its way to you. You've just got to be open to it."
Matthew started to write, only looking up when Ms. Winters cleared her throat at the front of the room.
"Hello everyone. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Ms. Winters, your AP English teacher." -
Aubri stared at Mason, and wrapped her arms around him quickly. "Thank you... Thank you so much.."

Mason hugged her back. "Don't worry about it."

Aubri clung onto him, her head gently laying on his shoulder while they hugged.

Mason smiled. He was beginning to really like Aubri... A lot.

A warming sensation filled Aubri's heart, something she'd never felt before.

A teacher stopped in the hall, blinking at them. "You two. Get to class. Now."
Mason was startled by the sudden sharp voice and jumped a bit. "Oh, erm, yeah. Sure. No problem Mr. S." -
Aubri blushed, seeing as someone caught them. She stood speechlesseye poking he teacher.

"What class do you have? I can walk you there," Mason offered, as soon as Mr. S was down the hall and out of earshot.

"I have... AP English." Aubri responded, reading her schedule. She looked up at him and smiled, her cheeks a deep pink color.

"Me too. Let's get going then. Wouldn't want to piss any more faculty members off or anything," he rolled his eyes and chuckled.

Aubri smiled, and giggled. "Of course."

The two walked down the hall towards the AP English room.
Ms. Winters then assumed her position at her desk, reading a rather bulky novel.
