Arielle blushed. "I'd love that." Meanwhile, Aubri went to her locker in sadness and anger. She dug out her phone, and texted a long, hurtful message meant for herself. She put in her name, and sent the message.. A few minutes later her phone vibrated, and she opened it, expecting the message. But instead there read a sad, hurting message from the one and only Arielle...
-
Matthew grinned and walked out of the room next to Arielle.
Mason, on the other hand, stood at his locker. With his earbuds in, he didn't notice Aubri at hers until he turned around. The forlorn expression on her face was saddening. "What's raining on your parade, Aubri?" he asked, taking out his earbuds. -
Arielle shook off the message, and smiled as she walked with Matthew. But she knew she'd get Aubri back... Soon.
Aubri shook her head. "It's.. Nothing." she said, giving a fake smile. But her eyes held sadness and regret. -
"Ms. Winters is a pretty kickass teacher, if you ask me. She basically gives us free write for the whole class. Aside from one presentation, it's a pretty laid back class."
Mason arched an eyebrow. "That pretty smile isn't fooling me, 'Bri." -
Arielle's eyes widened. "That's amazing!" she exclaimed, smiling.
Aubri blushed slightly. "It's stupid, really.." -
Matthew nodded. "It is. I'm glad to find someone who's as enthusiastic about writing as I am."
Mason took a step forward, shutting his locker. "Nothing's stupid if it's making your frown. No one would risk getting frown lines unless they had a good reason for it." He paused, blinking. "It's about Arielle, isn't it?" -
Arielle grinned, blushing slightly. "I love writing, especially romance. Aubri loves writing horror, though."
Aubri nodded, her head hung down. She stated at her feet as a single year fell from her eye. -
*stared

"I'd love to take a look at some of your stuff in the future. I'm sure it's great." They reached the room and entered. Instead of regular desks, there were all sorts of comfortable seating options such a beanbags, couches, and bowl chairs.
-
"Why thank you." Arielle looked around the room. "Woahh.."
-
"She values creativity, and believes that in order to let it flow one must be in a comfortable environment. Thus we have this great furniture," he explained, gesturing towards the beanbags and other chairs.
"Hey," Mason whispered softly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You're not alone." -
"Wow..." Arielle plopped herself gently on a bluebird colored beanbag,
Aubri rose her head, blushing, more tears escaping her eyes. -
Matthew sat down in a green beanbag beside her. He took out a huge notebook and a pen, opening up to about the halfway mark.
-
Arielle looked around the room. It looked very different, like something a teen hang-out would be,
-
.3. I hit enter by mistake.
Mason looked into her eyes. "You're not alone, and you never will be. Sure, my brother and your sister are hitting it off and will probably elope and settle down in an estate in the middle of nowhere where antelopes and deer roam freely and shit. And quite honestly, that pisses me off a little bit because now I don't have my whole brother with me. I have less than half, maybe 25% if I'm lucky. And hell, if I'm this pissed off about it, I can't imagine how s---ty you feel. But don't let it bring you down. Sure, Arielle's found Mattie boy, but who says you can't be happy too?"
