"So, Mason, tell me about yourself." Aubri said, turning to him. She flashed a smile.
Arielle started to write, but mostly glanced at Matthew. -
"What do you want to know? I can choose material from a broad spectrum of facts." He smirked, winking.
Matthew bit his lip and furrowed his brow as his writing became quicker and more feverish. After a few moments he stole a glance over at Arielle, only to meet her gaze. He grinned, winking, before continuing his work. -
Aubri smiled. "Well, I just want to get to know a little about you."
Arielle blushed deeply, and smiled. She started to write some more as ideas crammed into her brain, causing the story to be very descriptive. -
"Hm. There's not much to know."
Matthew brought the thirty fourth chapter of his novel in progress to a close, nodding as he did so. -
"Such as..?"
Arielle over looked the part of her book she'd just written, and smiled at it. -
Mason sighed. "Mason J. Louis was born on the morning of October 23, 1995 approximately thirty seconds after his twin brother. Said brother has always been better than Mason, leaving the boy in his shadow. Mason's passions include music, graphic design, and sarcasm." He smirked after realizing that he had use his news reporter voice.
Ms. White called upon the class. "Would anyone like to share what they've written so far?" -
Aubri smiled. "In my opinion, your better then your brother, really." She continued to smile as she looked at her feet. "Anything you'd like to know about me..?"
Arielle stood silent. -
Mason smiled shyly, which was a rare occurrence. "Tell me your life story. Basically, everything about Aubri."
Matthew blinked, scanning the room. No one raised their hand. "Okay, then I'll have to choose someone then," Ms. White said, sighing. "Though I really hate victimizing my students..." -
Aubri grinned. "Well, okay. On October 31st, 1995, Aubrianna Louise Smith was born 45 seconds before her sister, Arielle Isabelle. Father died in horrible boating accident a few days after the birth. As her and her sister was always outcasts, they made a pact in 1st grade to never let each other go, to always stick together no matter what. Aubrianna and Arielle's interests are almost the same, but some things are different, such as Aubrianna's love of horror, Aubrianna's love of playin bass guitar and singing, and Aubrianna's love of painting dreams." Aubri took a deep breath, smiling. "And there you have it."
Arielle covered her face up with her notebook, hoping not to be picked. -
Mason whistled. "What a life story you have there. I'm sorry about your dad. Aubrianna... That's a beautiful name."
Ms. White paced through the room, scanning over everyone's notebooks. "Hmm... Matthew, you're one of my most promising students. Why don't you read a part of your novel for us?"
Matthew's face instantly reddened. "Erm... Y-yeah. Okay." -
Aubri smiled. "Thanks? And it's fine. I never got to know him.." she blushed deeply. "W-Why, thank you.."
Arielle smiled enthusiastically, giving Matthew a thumbs up. -
Mason grinned. "You're ever so welcome. And here we have the AP English room..." He reached for the door knob, only to find it stuck in position. "Which is also currently locked."
Matthew gave her a small smile before clearing his throat. "Should I start at the first chapter, or where I've just left off?"
Ms. White dismissed his question with a wave of her hand. "Wherever you see fit."
After a handful of page flips, he was ready to begin. -
Aubri giggled. "So where do we go now?"
Arielle continued to smile. -
Mason shrugged. "I'll just obnoxiously knock on the door until someone answers."
Matthew didn't get the first word out of his mouth before a loud, annoying knock on the door sounded throughout the room. Ms. White rolled her eyes and motioned for Matthew to continue, so he did. Once again, he was interrupted by a bout of knocks. She sighed and walked over to the door, opening it. -
Aubri smiled nervously, and his behind Mason's tall figure.
