Aubri smiled at Mason. "Ready to go?"

Mason glanced up. "Yeah, sure."

Aubri smiled. She wanted to hold out her hand, but she was too afraid to. "Where do you want to go?"

Mason shrugged. "I'm not sure where Matthew had in mind, but there's this really great Thai place on Main Street. That, or we could go to one of the diners in the area." He wondered if Matthew and Arielle would mind if they split off.

"Hmmm... I've never had Thai before.."

"New school, new friends, new place... Why not add new food to the mix?" Mason grinned as they approached their lockers.
Matthew put his notebook away and shut his locker. "What kind of food are you up for?" he asked. -
"That'd be awesome!" Aubri replied, placing everything in her locker.
Arielle shrugged. "Italian, I guess." -
Mason placed his books into his locker carelessly. "Thai it is, then."
Matthew nodded. "Alright. We can do that." -
Aubri smiled, hoping that the next thing she'd do wouldn't have to be regretted. She held out her hand to him, also hoping he'd take it.
Arielle smiled. "Yay!" -
Mason smiled, glancing down at Aubri's hand before lacing his fingers through hers.
Matthew grinned back at her before turning to face everyone. "So, who's taking whose car?" -
Aubri blushed deeply, wearing a smile that could never be wiped off.
Arielle shrugged. -
Mason shrugged. "We can take my car, seeing as I have the keys."
He couldn't ignore the bubbly, warm feeling that rose in his chest.
Matthew nodded. "That's agreeable." -
Aubri smiled at Mason. "Okay, we'll lets go!"
Arielle rolled her eyes at Mason and Aubri's hands, and smiled at Matthew. "Ready to go?" -
Mason grinned and led Aubri out to their luxurious car.
Matthew nodded. "Sure." -
Aubri smiled at the car. "Damn, it looks so nice."
Arielle smiled, and led them to the red Corvette her and her sister had arrived in earlier that day.
