But yeah anyways -
I'm rewatching the spiderman movies, all in order, and I finished Andrew Garfield and currently watching Tom Holland's first movie.
I'm sorry to say this but toby mcguire was not as good as people hyped him up to be (now THIS is a debate I can get behind; who's everyone's favorite spiderman??) -

Tom holland is good, but I don't like his movies as much because they rlly tried to push him into the avengers universe instead of letting him do his own thing. His peter parker doesn't even have an origin story 😭 I really want them to make a prequel tom holland movie about him getting bit and learning about his powers!!

Toby mcguire was so dead in some scenes tbh his acting was just ok. He got better in the later movies! And his movies were the best technical-wise cuz they did some really great effects!
Andrew garfield had such a strong personality, loved all of his lines and acting and general demeanor. Probably my favorite so far.
Tom holland is still up in the air, but he is good so far. I just don't like his movies as much because I don't like how big the concept is, the other spiderman movies were confined to new york and very community focused (a lot of good scenes where he was saving kids, or, like, the people would come together to help spiderman out in the andrew and toby movies) -
that's so real. No spoilers, but since you like the origin and more small scale, New York Spiderman movies, you'll probably like the new movie!

And btw, if spiderverse is put into the mix, clearly miles morales is the best spiderman over everybody. I think it's one of the most important and poignant animated movies of its time. It's not just "a good animated movie" it's "a good movie"!! It was one of the first animated movies to win awards outside of just 'best animated' categories - like, idk if I'm explaining this well ,,
What I'm trying to say is that it put animated movies ON THE MAP and is so good that it can hold up next to live action films!! -
Miles Morales could beat all the other Spider-Men in a heartbeat. His movies are some of the best movies of all time, hands down
