Hopefully this works, but I doodled our rp characters -
I'm still gonna have to draw them a few more times to get their designs down. There are some inconsistencies and improvements that can def be made 😭 like idk if I should go with straight or wavy for Elisabeth's hair, and I'm soooo bad at drawing short hair so idk what Lucien's hair is even doing

Using ai is so bad, especially for art -
How is it bad,i told him to create an image since i can't draw and i also do not have the commitment,time and patience to draw,and i don't like drawing it has never been my thing so i just told him to visualize it and it was really good

Ai is trained off other people's creations. When you ask it to generate something, it steals the style of other artists and smashes it together into something that either looks somewhat different or almost the same as an existing work. It doesn't credit anyone for it and artists don't consent to it. They get nothing from it and people have been using AI to avoid giving credit where artists deserve it. When we use AI, it also only further encourages others who want to use it to replace actual artists and their hard work.
There are also environmental concerns that come with AI usage such as the encouragement of data centers to run AI if they see enough people using it. Developers will only add more of them, taking away our clean resources just for these factories to generate stuff based off stolen or incorrect/biased information.
I understand you personally dont wish to draw or have the patience to learn, but there are other creator-friendly options such as using picrew for character design or finding pictures that resemble the character you imagine. Or even mood boards can be used to show the style of clothing, things they like, and other traits that represent your character. -
I don't think AI is that way(to be precise chatgpt),and his images are fire and i really didn't want to create or draw the characters i just wanted him to show me how they would look and it was great,and ai stealing others creation i've never heard that before
The only bad thing is that people overdepend on it and i'm not one of them -
And the elisabeth picture he created is my profile pic which is cool

I'm sorry, but that is precisely how it works. There are several articles you can look up if you would like to learn more, but something and someone has to train AI, and unfortunately, it pulls from what it believes is public domain. When it answers questions, you may see it cite sources such as reddit or tumblr or any other public domain, but when you ask it to create, it pulls from things accessible to the public in order to mimic that design or style. This is how it is trained. Yes, there are some people who train it specifically with things they give it to look at, but in order to keep it up to date with generating and mimicking styles, it relies on works all over the internet as well as whatever you personally upload.
I won't tell you what to do, but I do advise at least researching it before deciding it just doesn't happen. I had to study this for an entire month last semester in college.
