At drawing. But I feel like I can't improve and I draw like a little kid. It's awful. I just want to get better. I want to be able to colour neatly and do all the cool things other artists can do. I want it to look clean and even somewhat professional. I may even give up.

My dad (who is awesome at drawing) says that copying other drawings is a good way to learn.

you like to draw anime right? than draw some easy-to-draw anime characters. I'd recommend drawing characters that were from the 90's or early 2000's. Back then anime was much simpler and not as much detail were put into the animations.

fine, but enjoy having trouble because you refuse to start at the basics.

Look at real people and real references first, then modify what you've learned there to fit the style you'd like. The art of others can contain all sorts of mistakes, so if you'd like accuracy/a mature style, learn what you can without referencing other artists (for the most part).

okayy but that doesn't mean you can wear your disability as a f---ing badge to excuse your poor spelling which should otherwise be unaffected, excepting a few key letters
