I would put this in the workshop but no one will notice it.
Anyways, I need a character for a thing I'm doing. And trust me, it's an actual thing. I have a plot and all those characters for it (except for two of them that are missing there, but that's not important)
Now, what do I need? I'm missing a type of business-like character, or at least a 100% serious character. And since I'm pretty pooped out from already making 13 of these f---ers, I'm going to give you guys a chance to make one up yourselves.
So!
Winner gets 1.) An official type of character profile made by me yes 2.) their character is included as a character in my story (possibly only a supporting character, but most of them are supporting anyways.
Rules!
1.) This contest will probs go on until late Monday night, possibly Tuesday.
2.) The gender of the character doesn't matter. BUT they MUST be over 21 years.
3.) Give me a full description of them, personality/looks/tastes/disabilities/etc. Provide an illustration if you'd like.
5.) The character MUST be human. No powers or cat eats or whatever.
6.) You MUST be okay with knowing that the character will be involved in a story with graphic/mature bits.
7.) Your character may or may not die and you have to be okay with that. Idk.
4.) By entering you MUST agree to me being able to slightly tweak the character. But I cannot completely change them.
5.) If requested, I will always give you credit for said character.

My entry: Yuki-San
Yuki-san is a very arrogant, serious, sophisticated, pessitimistic, 22-year old. She really dislikes people who are energetic and are a bit happy. She also dislikes when people try to make her smile. The only time she smiles is when almost never. It's a miracle if someone actually makes her smile. She likes eating cake and drinking coffee alot. She also likes computers alot. She has like atleast 8 around her room. She has a sensitive stomach to very spicy foods. When she was young, her eye was replaced because she lost it when her and her family were getting aviccted. Sometimes she likes ladies, but its alittlw both on guys and women. Her most favorite food is black chocolate forest cake. -
And she also has big breasts.
Looks: Dirty Blonde hair with a bang covering her permanent replaced eye, Pale-ish skin, Ocean blue anime eyes, Natrual Blush
Clothes: she usually wears alot of business, sophisticated clothing and dresses. -
Because it will take me until tomorrow to finish this b----, here's my thingy!
Gabriel Lucas Sanchez. Quiet, reserved, classy, and what some people might call "too responsible". Lucas is a hard-working 29-year-old, who clings to the fact that everyone is too cheerful and goofy. He stays silent during most conversations, and wears only the best-suited clothing.
Lucas enjoys calling people by their middle name with an added "Mrs", "Mr", or "Misses", because he thinks it's sweet and simple. If anyone calls him by a nickname, his face gets redder than a tomato, but he says nothing. He's well-known for not snapping at people and being a good boy. He also enjoys coffee flavored yogurt; He thinks ice cream is too high with calories and will make him look like his parents when they were his age.
Although he does smile, Lucas always has a straight face, or a scowl. He hates the idea of "fun". He hates doing anything other than breathing, eating, sleeping, being silent, and doing his work. His main goal in life is to become a famous business worker and teach children how to be respectful and mature.
He can't stand little kids, teenagers, slackers, or loud people. Mainly loud people. Lucas would probably murder someone who was being loud if it wasn't for the fact he's trying to be a better person than most. He also dislikes fast food places or sweets. They make him sick to the stomach, weak, and nauseous. (He missed work once due to ice cream, and he's never had any since.)
Lucas has short, choppy black hair, He never lets it get down to his shoulders. He has one strand of blonde hair that covers his right eye, which was his major birthmark. His skin is beginning to get pale, due to all of the time he spends working.
He always wears a tie, at home, work, or out, to remind everyone who knows him how hard-working he is. He normally wears all black. (His family complains they can never see him at night except for that strand of red hair.)
Lucas has been hard working ever since he was a child. At age three, he was mopping the floors until they sparkled. Five, he vacuumed each room and threw away his Mom's cigarettes and his Father's empty wine bottles. Around age twelve he got an award for having the cleanest house that he presented to himself. He had all of his neighbors wowed. He did ten pages of extra homework for all of his teachers. All throughout his life, he's been the best person any kid could want to be. -

IHLAOY NewbieShouldn't you make a plot around the characters, instead of a character around the plot? It's just generally bad form to create a plot first and cram a character into it, but again, there are always exceptions.
Anyway, beneath is my attempt at a character, it would be more effective if I had any idea what the themes, tones, symbolism or plot of the novel was. For reference, and to make things easier, I will make a TL;DR at the bottom of this post.
James Trigger.
Small town musician, aged 32, plays piano.
James is a rather reserved man, but always takes the time to chat with those who seek him. He's very goal oriented, and as such, usually throws himself wholly into projects or reports. For James, good is never enough. He must be perfect, flawless in every task, shining from every angle. If you never strive for perfection, you are wasting your talents. He has little tolerance for silliness, but is surprisingly happy when the camera isn't rolling. He prefers to keep a close group of friends, with whom he is honest, cheery and amiable. Everyone else would just see him as that quiet, polite guy tapping his fingers in the corner.
James mainly works as a pianist for hire, but takes odd jobs to fill in the gaps. He once spent a week camped out in the desert looking for aliens because the pay was good.
James dresses depending on the day. If he's working, he will dress up in a suit and tie to look presentable, otherwise he will aim for something more casual.
James has no real dislikes, save for people who play music in public and the state of the music industry as a whole, but enjoys a wide range of hobbies and skills, which he attempts to refine daily. His piano skills are the most obvious, but he's also been seen writing music and bird watching.
Growing up, James wasn't a stupid kid. He wasn't a smart one either, but that's not part of the story. He didn't have money, or talent, or even that many friends, but he did have something very important that many people do not. A rival. Someone to push him to great heights and insult him when he fell. And as the years went on, that rivalry eventually faded, but James' drive did not. If he wasn't better than the average person, he wasn't trying hard enough.
And that's about it.
tl;dr: James Trigger, pianist. Aged 34. Single minded, reserved, obsessive. Does odd jobs for money. Wears casual clothes, occasionally a suit while performing. Hates what music is becoming, writes music to counter that. Pushes himself to be the best because of childhood rivalry. -
I know what the character is going to be used for and I know their place. I just wasn't feeling up to making them.

Ah, anyways I did happen to leave out the whole summary of the plot and such, and if it helps any I could probably post it once I get home, along with the role of the character you guys are making.
