"yea..." He sighed, picking the last of the strawberries.

"IS there a separate room for everyone here?" Dusk asked, tossing a rotten strawberry away.

"Yup." He said, nodding.

"This place is huge." She said, eyeing the building again. She wondered how many rooms there were.

"Yea, it is." Even though the house was only 2 floors, it was twice the size of a normal house.

"How old are all of you here?"

Jake stood up with both of the full buckets. "13 to 18."

She reached forward and took her own bucket from him. "I can handle it."

"Fine, bring it back to the kitchen." He said, walking back to the house.

She trailed behind him, watching the woods. Suddenly she heard a shout from them. "Was that the runners?"
