"Whatever. Don't be a jerk." Dusk snapped at him. -

"Sorry jeez. Living with 10 other annoying teenage boys for 3 years doesn't really put you in the best mood." He looked at the forest surrounded them, and pointed to it. "This is the forest, that goes on for miles. Every night, the invisible fences get turned on by the people who put us here, to protect us from the creatures out there." It was true, there wa terrible animals. Not just your normal wolves or bears, but others that only existed here. -
"Have you ever seen the people that run this place?" Dusk took another strawberry off the bush.

"Nope. But we're not in the wilderness, i know that much." He picked the petals off a flower next to him.

"Where are the rest of the boys?" -
(it's fine. really.)
"Inside. Lunch is in half an hour." He got up and walked towards the house. -
Dusk watched him leave. Who was he? Who was SHE, for that matter. She could still remember nothing.

"You coming?" He turned around and faced her.

"Yes." She answered, eying the edge of the landscape. What kind of beasts lived there? Tearing her gaze away,.she followed Daniel back inside.

Daniel walked back to her room, waited for her to come in, and closed the door. "Do you remember your name? I'm daniel, by the way."

"Dusk." She answered, listening closely for signs of life. "How many of you are there?"

"How many boys here? 15, including me." He sat down on the side of the bed. "Do you remember your favorite color or food? Those are the 2 easiest thigns to remember."

"My favorite color is royal blue. My favorite food is..." Dusk hesitated, "Strawberries. I think."

Daniel smiled. "Black, and.....blueberries." Carter yelled something from downstairs. "Food's ready."

"What do you eat here? Is there anything other than the food in the garden?" Dusk wondered aloud.
