I walked back to my house to get my clarinet. Why was there a need to wait? I grabbed t, and returned to where Raynefell and I had previously met. It could not go wrong, otherwise the plan would fail, and they would have to start over again.
(You can use my real name if you want to.And this part is my pov)
I pace as I wait for Dragonsfire to show up. I hope she didn't get caught or something. If this plan fails, there will be no place safe for us to hide.It will not go wrong, I will not let it. As I pace, I pluck absently at my viola.
(I don't know your real name. Mine's Tatyana.)
I arrive, and enter the building silently, thinking about all the possibilities. I assemble my instrument into its full form, and start warming up. You cannot play a wooden clarinet while it's cold. "Are you ready?" I ask Raynefell.
(Yours is pretty too!)
I turn on the recorder. It wasn't one of those cheap ones that you get at Office Depot, or something. It was the absolute best that money could buy. When you're literally about to have all the money in the world, who cares? As long as it helps us carry out our plan.
As soon as I turned it on, we started. We played a heavenly tune, with perfect tone. We each used some of our own magic. Mine to keep us in tune and to prevent us from messing up the whole thing entirely, and Ambrosia's to convince and make the whole world believe with all their hearts that we were their sole rulers.
I smiled as we played, for it truly was a wonderful tune.We shared a glance as people began to focus on us. I raised my chin a they began to bow. Our plan had worked! I closed my eyes and played out more than before, swaying slightly. After a while, I looked over to Tatyana questioningly. I waited til she looked over to see if we should stop playing or continue.
I made a face with my eyebrows, unsure of whether to sto or not. If we stopped, the spell would be broken, and the people would not be enchanted anymore. But that was why we had the recording. I nodded, and we both played the final note. As soon as we stopped, I could tell that the people were coming back to earth. I stopped the recorder as soon as humanly and inhumanly possible to prevent any pauses in the music. Then I played the recording, and the people around us acted as the did before.
